Michael and has ten siblings. She loves the Lord with all her heart
and proclaims on the streets with her family.

Samuel 22:48-51 “He is the God who avenges me, who puts the
nations under me, who sets me free from my enemies. You exalted me
above my foes; from violent men you rescued me. Therefore I will
praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing praises to your
name. He gives his king great victories; he shows unfailing kindness
to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever.”
We hear over
the daily news reports coming out of China of the atrocities and the
persecution of Chinese dissidents. Well, Christian persecution is
alive and well right here in anytown USA but I noticed it didn't
make the evening news. Why, in Granite City it didn't even make the
daily police blotter.
The Saturday
morning began in its usual way with mothers pulling onto the local
extermination camp Hope Clinic to kill their children. A few were
from the day before and could barely walk back inside to finish the
grisly deed. Throughout the morning we prayed and spoke Scripture to
the wolves in sheep's clothing from Eden Theological Seminary as
they are called to lead “straight to hell.” This day a Jewish
Rabbi stood holding his Star of David “clergy for choice” sign
and we reminded him of the 6 million Jews who were slaughtered in
the Nazi Holocaust; how hypocritical it was to be born and
supportive of another Holocaust. Two precious babies' lives were
spared this killing day and one mother was able to view her 20 week
old baby boy auditioning for his life in our ultrasound van.
As the day
progressed we prepared for the annual Santa Claus Parade pagan event
conducted in this city of slaughter, once known for the industrious
steel mill, now known for the baby-dumping mill. Approximately
30,000 residents with 73 churches within city limits and not one
church stands at this abortion mill. As a matter of fact, this
abortion mill stays open with permission of the local churches. A
remnant showed up to deliver God's mail to this city once again to
expose the abomination under its nose and a serial killer in their
midst. We began in prayer thanking the Lord for this opportunity to
serve him

We held
Scripture and a graphic sign “baby Malachi” to hold on the
corner where the parade would pass by. Before the parade started
Mayor Ed Hagnauer, and the County auditor pleaded with Ed to turn
his graphic sign around. It was offensive and it was killing people
to have to look at it.

Ed refused to
comply and they left. Soon the crowd began gathering at the
intersection and a few people came up and complained and we
explained why we were here to show the truth of what's happening to
little children at Hope Clinic just around the corner. This parade
was for children and that's why we are here. We want all children to
be able to enjoy this parade, but they have to be born first. An
irate woman began screaming obscenities and shoving Angie who was
holding the banner, “What if the Virgin Mary aborted Jesus?”
Angie ignored her. Mia was videotaping and told the woman Sheryl
Horgon to stop hitting Angie. Mia told her, “That's assault.”
The attacker then replied, “I'll show you assault and battery and
I'll be out fifteen minutes later!”
The woman
then went over to John who wore a sign stating “ Granite City 's
shame.” The baby Malachi sign was between him and Mia. She began
furiously kicking the sign which eventually broke. Mia told her not
to do that. All of a sudden this woman's heavy-set daughter
ran up to Mia and shoved her into the concrete light pole and onto
the ground where she began to stomp and kick her. Angela ran over to
Mia and fell over her to protect her daughter from further blows.
The two attackers then ran off into the crowd. Four officers and two
hospital guards stood by and did nothing. 1
Samuel 17:45-47 “David said to the Philistine, “You come against
me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the
name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you
have defied. This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I'll
strike you down and cut off your head. Today I will give the
carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the
beasts of the earth, and the whole world will know that there is a
God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by
sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord's and
he will give all of you into our hands.”

Only after a
customer ran out of the gas station after witnessing Mia's brutal
beating and complained to an officer did the police attempt to come
to our aid. The man said he was unbiased and offered to give his
statement but the officer refused to take it. Two woman parade-goers
across the intersection, ran across to pick Mia up and check her
vital signs as she lay crying...The two attackers were running away
as I followed them screaming to the police to stop them! They
finally handcuffed the older woman and placed her in the squad car.
Then Officer T. Merz came over and told us, “You have to evacuate
this corner now and we will take her to the police station.” I
questioned why everyone had to leave. He replied, “Are you all
going to evacuate?” I said, “My daughter and I will follow you
to the police station.” Officer Merz said, “ALL of you must
evacuate this corner.” I said, “There is no need for all of us
to leave, just the witnesses and victim.”
“Are you
going to evacuate?”
I said
"No." Officer Merz got red in the face and opened the door
of the squad car, pulled the woman out, unlocked the handcuffs and
let her go. “Officer,” we yelled. “It's over!” he said and
radioed to begin the parade. I ran to the other officer, a
Christian, I recognized and he said, “Angela, I can't do
anything.” I said, “But John, you saw the injustice that just
happened?” He said, “Angela, you know how they are going to
treat you.” I said, "What kind of a message did they just
send to the crowd ... and to that little girl who was
brutalized?"
“ I'm sorry
Angela. Talk to the officer after the parade,” he said
Isaiah
1:4 “Ah, sinful nation, a people loaded with guilt, a brood of
evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the
Lord; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their
backs on Him.”

We helped
hold Mia throughout the parade and endure the insults and profanity
coming from the elves' mouths, even Santa Claus was upstaged. Parade
officials tried to pull their golf cart and SUV alongside the
sidewalk where we stood, trying to conceal the signs. The official
kept telling us, “You'll never close that clinic.” I replied,
“You're right, we won't but God will.” He then said, “These
people aren't looking at your signs.” One proclaimer said, “The
trampling of our first amendment rights and the violations were a
lawsuit waiting to happen.” This official smugly replied, “Just
try it, you're in Madison County.” With that he said it all,
validating the corruption that exists in this city and county and in
the courts.
Parade
participants began throwing large bags of hard candy directly at our
faces and heads from the passing floats. We tried to bring this to
the standing officer's attention. He turned, smiled, and said,
"I don't see nothing," and walked away. Another pair of
women covered our signs with a blanket and the officer told them,
“Do whatever you need to do, just don't touch their signs.” As
the parade proceeded, we did have a few participants stand up on
their floats and tell us, “Thank you for being here,” and,
“God bless you. I'm glad you're here.”
We know of
the great injustices and persecution of the saints and the martyrs
that went before us. This is to be expected when you stand for the
truth and proclaim it in the miry muck, full of innocent blood in
the streets of Granite City . We see how the city fathers, law
enforcement, and the citizens of this sin-filled city treat human
beings. If they don't care about those most helpless in the womb,
why would they care about those out of the womb? This Mayor, a
professing pro-life Christian and Catholic, just wanted to put on a
nice “Santa Parade” a week before Thanksgiving. “Those signs
are offensive, and we do not want to offend anyone.” The truth is
that this city houses an abomination, a stronghold on this town. You
allow a serial killer in your midst where 150-200 are murdered
weekly...Mayor the fact that you turn a blind eye to the sin in this
city is offensive, "truth is hate to all those who hate the
truth". Isaiah 1:21 “See
how the faithful city has become a harlot! She once was full of
justice; righteousness used to dwell in her- but now murderers!”
After the
parade was over we had a closing prayer giving thanks to the Lord,
and prayed for the hearts of the fathers to be turned to their
children and remove this stronghold in this city.. 2
Kings 23:10 “He desecrated Topheth, which was in the Valley of Ben
Hinnom, so no one could use it to sacrifice his son or daughter in
the fire to Molech.”

Sheryl Horgon threatening proclaimers at police station
and attempting to file complaint against police
|
We then went
to the police station. We spoke with Lt. D. Clement and he said that
we would have to call the police chief on Monday morning to discuss
what happened at the parade. “I need to file a complaint,”
Angela said. He said that no complaints were going to be accepted.
Lt. Clement tried giving us the run-around when we requested to talk
to Officer Merz, the arresting officer. Angela insisted that she
wasn't leaving until Officer Merz spoke with her. Lt. Clement then
told us to have a seat and went to get Officer Merz.
After a few
minutes Officer Merz came out to us. Angela thanked him for coming
to us and she said, “I want to hear from your mouth why you didn't
file a complaint and arrest our attacker?” Officer Merz replied,
“I needed all of you to come down to the police station and you
didn't.” Sister Grace replied that we had three people that were
going to come to the station, the victim and the witnesses. But
Officer Merz said, “I needed all of you to come. They have as many
witnesses as you do saying the exact opposite of what you're
saying.” Angela said to him, “What kind of an example did you
set for all of those people when you released the attackers? You
took an oath to serve and protect. Who are you serving and who are
you protecting?” He told us to call the police chief on Monday
morning. Then the attacker and an irate woman bolted into the
station and began threatening us and demanded to file a complaint
against the Granite City police. When the attacker, Sheryl
Horgon,
lunged at us, two officers restrained her and carried her to a
holding area. I turned to Officer Merz and said, “She's here to
file a complaint against you.” He then said, “Things like that
happen. I can't do anything about it.” We again thanked him for
his time and left.
As we drove
home, I was reminded of what our President said in a televised press
conference during his recent trip to Beijing when he learned that
Chinese dissidents were under house arrest in order to silence them
so as not to expose the evil and persecution happening in China.
“I'm always
concerned when individuals cannot express their feelings or concerns
in the public square.” President Bush on a recent trip to China.

Peter 2:19-21 “For it is commendable if a man bears up under the
pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God. But how is
it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and
endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this
is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ
suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in
His steps.”
1
Peter 2:23-25 “When they hurled their insults at Him, He did not
retaliate; when He suffered, He made no threats. Instead, He
entrusted himself to Him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins
in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for
righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed. For you were like
sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and
Overseer of your souls.”
