Church
Van in Abortion Mill Parking Lot
By Flip Benham, 23 December 2005
Enclosed is a
picture of a church van parked in front of the Hope Abortion Mill in
Granite City, Illinois. Yes, churches are bussing Christians in for
abortions! Angela Michael sent us this shocking picture. If you have
ever wondered how Christians can bring their Bibles into an abortion
mill believing that God approves of their very difficult decision, you
need look no further than to the pathetic preaching of our seeker
friendly pulpits.
Christians go
into abortion mills, knowing that abortion might be wrong, but
believing that God understands and that He heals and forgives. They
know the Law of God yet they are going to break it anyway, and then
presume upon His mercy and grace. This outrageous lie impugns the very
character of God.
Bill Clinton
lived out this false theology in spades as his “pastors,” Phillip
Wogaman, Bill Hybels, and Tony Campolo, enabled him to continue in his
sin. That's right! Rather than confronting the President in his sin of
adultery, they simply reminded him that Jesus heals and forgives. I
know this to be true for I have spoken personally with both Mr. Hybels
and Mr. Wogaman concerning this very matter.
I attended the
church service on January 25, 1998, at the Foundry United Methodist
Church where Phillip Wogaman was the pastor. This was five days after
Mr. Clinton was exposed for lying about his despicable sexual
relationship with a young White House intern, Monica Lewinsky. The
title of Wogaman's sermon that Sunday was “Taking the Bible
Seriously.” President Clinton and his wife were sitting in a pew
close to the front. There the lying wolf, Phillip Wogaman, pronounced
President Clinton forgiven and healed. Yes, the old pastor lied, just
as David was forgiven for his adultery, and the Apostle Paul was
forgiven for his murderous bent to expunge Christianity, and Peter was
forgiven for denying Christ, so to the President of the United States
of America was forgiven for his mistake. God just winks and
presto-chango, just like magic, mistakes are gone. Oh happy day!
No one should
be surprised then, that when Bill and Hillary exited the Church
building, he held his Bible up high with a giant smile on his face.
Without confession or justice being done, he had just been pronounced
forgiven by a wolf in Pastor's clothing. This picture adorned the
front pages of most of the major newspapers in America .
For a guy who
is supposed to be taking the Bible seriously Mr. Wogaman
certainly overlooked some things. David had a Nathan who confronted
him point blank in his sin, “…You are the Man!…,” 2
Samuel 12:7. Though David was indeed forgiven, it was only
after confessing the truth of his sin. The Apostle Paul was confronted
by a vision of Jesus Himself, “… Saul, Saul, why do you
persecute Me!” Acts 9:4. He was confronted point-blank in
his sin and blinded until he could come to complete repentance. It was
only then that he experienced the forgiveness of God. And Peter, who
was so certain that he would never deny Jesus, was confronted by Jesus
Himself after denying Him three times, realizing now what a horrible
sinner he was as the eyes of Jesus gazed upon him. “The Lord
turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word
the Lord had spoken to him: ‘Before the rooster crows today, you
will deny Me three times.'” Luke 22:61. It was only then,
after coming to grips with the horrible truth about himself, that
Peter was able to experience the forgiveness of God.
The one thing
President Clinton did not have, that David, Paul, and Peter had, was
someone who loved him enough to tell him the truth. One must be
confronted with his sin before he can confess and repent of it, and
receive the true mercy and forgiveness that comes from God.
Repentance
always precedes forgiveness, and justice always precedes mercy. Mercy
triumphs over judgment to be sure, but mercy can never be had apart
from judgment. To dispense biblical mercy before there is biblical
judgment of sin, is biblical error. No Justice, No Mercy! It's just
that simple.
I was not
surprised then, when Mr. Clinton was asked on September 28, 1998, what
he would say to little children who had learned of his adulteress
escapade with Monica Lewinsky, that he simply parroted what he had
been told by his “pastor.” Listen to the President's words: "I
would tell them that all people make mistakes, even presidents. That's
the bad news. The good news is that if you acknowledge your errors and
you change, you can go forward free again." (Was what he did with
Monica a mistake?)
With this
"no consequences" idea of what Christ can do for us - all
prisoners from every jail in America should be set free. Where do you
suppose Mr. Clinton got this foolish idea? You might be surprised.
Most evangelical Christians probably heard this false theology
preached from their pulpits this past Sunday morning. As a matter of
fact, some of you who reading this are in agreement with Mr. Clinton's
slippery statement. You are mad at me right now for writing such a
judgmental piece, totally ignoring the grace and mercy of God.
But Jesus
quoted the Old Testament prophet Hosea saying, "...I
desire mercy, not sacrifice..." Matthew 12:7. Here is
the context of Hosea's words concerning the backsliding of God's
people, "Therefore I cut you to pieces with My prophets,
I killed you with the words of My mouth; My judgments flashed like
lightning upon you. For I desire mercy, not sacrifice and
acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings." Hosea 6:5-6.
In order to
receive God's mercy there must first be justice (judgment). Again,
Mercy triumphs over judgment to be sure (James 2:13 )
but mercy cannot be had apart from justice. The people in Hosea's time
were worshiping God with their lips yet were living like hell with
their lives. Therefore God sent prophets to expose their sin. Once
exposed and confessed, the sin could be forgiven by the grace and
mercy of Almighty God.
God always
desires to have mercy. He is merciful. His mercies are new every
morning. But He will never have mercy apart from justice. God's
justice always precedes God's salvific mercy. "He has
showed you, O man. What is good. And what does the Lord require of
you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your
God." Micah 6:8.
The
"sloppy agape" and "greasy grace" that slithers
from the pulpits of our land dispenses mercy with no need for justice.
It is Christ without the cross. It is salvation without judgment. It
is heaven without hell. It is sin all the more that God's grace may
abound. It is nothing less than Clintonian theology.
Theologians
call this antinomianism. It is living apart from the law. It
isGod forgives everybody for everything and we are all going to
heaven. “Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die.”
Oh, Happy Day!”
I've heard it a
million times at the abortion mill and so have you: "My Jesus
understands my predicament, you don't. He loves me and will forgive me
for my abortion. He isn't a judgmental bigot like you are."
With that false
theology and an air of justification, a young lady saunters into the
abortion mill to murder the child that God has placed in her womb,
knowing full well that "her" Jesus loves her and has no
choice but to forgive her for whatever she does. The only problem with
this is that "her" Jesus has absolutely nothing to do with
the Jesus of the Bible.
How does a
church van drive into the parking lot of an abortion mill to drop off
a young lady to kill her child, and do it all in the wonderful Name of
Jesus? You be the judge!
The Apostle
Paul answers this false assumption this way: "What shall
we say then? Shall we go on sinning that grace may increase? By no
means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?" Romans
6:1-2.
