St. Louis
: The
Bloodiest
City
in our Nation
Ezekiel
35:6 “Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue
you.”
When
you sow bloodshed in the womb you will reap it in the streets

Aftershocks
are still being felt after the celebration of the recent baseball
Cardinals’ World Series victory, this past Friday.
St. Louis, Missouri
once again makes national headlines, but our city officials and
forefathers can’t be proud of the distinction of being the most
violent city in our nation according to information compiled by Morgan
Quitno Press and FBI figures. The murder rate has skyrocketed over 20
% since last year’s stats.
Detroit
ranks second in being the most violent. Ezekiel
7:11 “Violence has grown into a rod to punish wickedness.”
There’s
no one left in
Granite City
to kill so
St. Louis
is the prime target.
Granite City
bears the title of being the
Midwest
’s baby dumping capital. Just five minutes across the river from
St. Louis
is Hope abortion mill known for late-term abortions and no parental
consent is needed to kill another human being. Hosea
4:2-3 “…bloodshed follows bloodshed. Because of this the land
mourns…”
Mayor
Francis Slay and Police Chief Joe Mokwa are too busy leading the gay
pride parade to slow down the murder rate; they just want to put on a
nice parade or hold a World Series. Mayor Slay faced the TV cameras
and said, “The report is not
true, it was bogus.” “They
dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. ‘Peace,
peace,’ they say, when there is no peace.” Jeremiah 6:14.
The
ranking was released as the city was still celebrating the World
Series victory.
St. Louis
has been pumping money into the new million dollar Busch Stadium and
spending millions of dollars on urban renewal as the murder rate
soars. Abortion in the
St. Louis
area averages approx. 78-100 a day between the three killing
facilities, most being performed in
Granite City
due to no restrictions and accessibility…
St. Louis
is the most dangerous city in
America
. Its murder rate is 8 times higher than the national average. Rampant
crime is not our problem. It is a sign and judgment from God.
“…No one could go about his business safely because of his enemy,
for I had turned every man against his neighbor.” Zechariah 8:10.
Visiting FBI director Robert Mueller said it was too early to tell why
some type of crimes were rising faster in the
Midwest
.
St. Louis
has been in the top ten most dangerous cities for the past few years.
Could this be God’s judgment? Get a grip! Let the truth be
known that we have stood by and overseen the senseless murders of over
45 million innocent human beings. And the silence from the
American
Church
and the apathy of the church-goers is deafening. We’ve thrown God
out of school, removed His Ten Commandments (which our nation was
founded on) from public buildings and schools, the world is calling
good evil and evil good, and we have no shame. And we continue to ask
God to keep blessing
America
. “If God does not judge
America
, He is going to have to apologize to
Sodom
and
Gomorrah
.” ~Billy Graham
Our
God is a merciful God. He has given us warning after warning through
modern-day prophets whom society considers fools; He has spoken to us
through parables, signs, and judgments.
God is calling us back to Him and His wrath is being revealed
through the wickedness of man and those who are trying to silence the
messenger and suppress the truth. Ezekiel
7:14 “Though they blow the trumpet and get everything ready, no one
will go into battle, for my wrath is upon the whole crowd.”
Our nation was founded on biblical teachings and Scripture. And
yet, we have forgotten our history and where we’ve come from. Many a
pulpit has been silenced and the flame dashed due to the fear of the
god in our back pocket.
We have a responsibility to Almighty God and to the world to
let our light shine, to expose evil, and to stand for righteousness.
Abraham Lincoln, our sixteenth President, said it best: “On
many a defeated field there was a voice louder than the thundering of
a cannon. It was the voice of God, crying, ‘Let my people go.’ We
were all very slow in realizing it was God’s voice, but after many
humiliating defeats the nation came to believe it a great and solemn
command. Great multitudes begged and prayed that I might answer
God’s voice by signing the Emancipation Proclamation, and I did it,
believing we never should be successful in the great struggle unless
the God of Battles has been on our side.”
The
same can be said today. Can we hear God now? 2
Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name, will humble
themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways,
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will
heal their land.”
