Death Toll December 5-10, 2005

Reporting from the killing fields of Granite City , IL .

Hope Clinic- American Family Extermination Camp “destroying families one child at a time”

Severing over 366,000 mother –child relationships in their 31 year reign of terror

Monday- Bag n’ Tag 181 for medical research labs and cosmetic firms from past week’s carnage.

Tuesday- 34            midnight abortions        MO, IL        1 save     7 pro-lifers      bitter cold & high winds

Extremely bitter conditions, there were no climate control surroundings on the sidewalk. The mothers’ hearts were as cold as the winds beating against us as we pleaded for mercy on their child.

That evening the Granite City council met to discuss the proposed ordinance in place to ban our signs from their city. After some discussion, it was sent to be viewed by a committee before approval and enforcement. Local T.V. crews and reporters did their spin on the nightly news...

Wednesday- 5            MO, IL        1 pro-lifer               Uneventful killing day, mothers from the previous killing day climbed back on top of the table to finish the grisly deed.

Thursday- 23        KY, MI, MO, IL          1 save                 5 pro-lifers     Bitter cold & snow began falling as we set up our mission and began ministering  to the lost and the needy. Granitonians drove by cursing us, as blinding snow piled up on our heads and shoulders.

Friday- 41            KY, IA, MO, IL             3 saves including Tina 13 wks MO, Tia & Ryan 22 wks MO, and a mother 18 wks MO     8 pro-lifers       As we rolled up to the crime scene a blanket of snow covered the dismal surroundings and our eyes focused on the “New Dimensions Christian Center” church van from E. St. Louis, Illinois, parked on the abortion mill lot. Three women went inside, Nolan informed me. "Are you sure they didn’t go into the hospital?  No, they’re in the abortion mill," he said.

We prayed and tried pleading with the moms and dads going in. During a break, I phoned the church where this van came from and left a message for the pastor, informing him that their church van was being used in commission of a crime and to return my call. Four hours later, these holy women came walking out; the back-seat passenger was carrying her brown bag to vomit in as the clinic workers over medicate the mothers with pain and sleep medication and nausea and vomiting is one of the many side effects. Most clients yell and scream at us after they kill, they are feeling guilty and convicted. These three women were extremely quiet and walked with their heads down.

Throughout the morning we were able to save three precious babies through onsite ultrasounds. Tia and Ryan saw their lil 22 week baby girl and were so grateful. The clinic workers would not let them see the ultrasound once inside. “Thank you for being here.”

Saturday- 46          TN, MO, IL      2 saves       15 pro-lifers         The church thought that baby-saving was the responsibility of only two or three people, so they slept in or found other excuses. A small remnant stood in the wilderness and were outnumbered by the deathscorts. Still, they were faithful and God honored that faithfulness and blessed their efforts with the saves of two precious infants, this day.

Another remnant stood on the frontlines outside a local Walgreens pharmacy that had fired one of the four pharmacists who refused to dispense the Plan B abortion pill. Read “Baby Malachi Witnesses at Walgreens”.

149 babies killed. 7 babies saved. 1562 saves since January 2000 and 21 babies have been adopted through Small Victories!

America ’s slogan is becoming, “If at first you don’t succeed, lower your standards.” For some of us, our slogan is, “If at first you don’t succeed, do it the way your wife told you to do it the first time.” But to succeed in life you have to learn endurance.

If we believe the Bible is God’s eternal Word, then we must believe 2 Peter 2:4-6. God brought down fire upon Sodom and Gomorrah , destroying those cities. And He sent a flood to destroy a wicked, vile society in Noah’s day. Indeed, there have been earthquakes and famines and plagues. Many have repeatedly warned of a worldwide shaking to come. Believers have been stirred to pray and prepare, but sinners seem to shrug their shoulders. God forbid anyone suggesting the Lord may be involved in the shaking of all things

In devastated New Orleans , the mayor has declared that he wants to turn the flooded areas into a massive Las Vegas-like district. Committees are now planning for one of the biggest Mardi Gras celebrations of all time. They’re inviting people from around the world to come and help celebrate. Yet all of this is happening in spite of the warnings and pleadings of God’s watchmen.

In Revelation we read of calamities so devastating that “men (shall) seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them” Revelation 9:6.  Ecological disasters, scorching heat, and pandemic diseases all come after God has already sent voices and trumpets to warn that He is speaking through these things.

In Psalm 31:19 David was talking about believers whose strong trust and faithful lives are beams of hope to those in darkness. When you set your faith by bringing every burden and trial to Christ, leaving everything at His feet and resting in faith, you’re going to be severely tested.

The Holy Spirit whispers, “Don’t give it up. I’ve got everything under control. Just stand steadfast. Never cast aside your set posture of faith and trust. Leave it all with me.”

I’ll never forget the peace that flooded through me in that moment. And by day’s end, my heart was full of joy as I realized, “Oh Lord, I trusted you. I didn’t waver. Thank you.”

In Psalm 78, we read about Ephraim, the largest tribe in Israel . Ephraim was the most favored tribe of all: numerous and powerful, skilled in the use of weapons, and well equipped for battle. Yet, when Ephraim went out to meet their enemy, we read this of them: “The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle” Psalm 78:9

This mighty tribe had gone out better armed and more powerful than their enemy. But for some reason, when Ephraim saw the opposition, they gave up and retreated. They had resolved to fight and win, but once they came face to face with their crisis, they lost heart.

Believers are equipped with a testimony of faith and are armed for battle against whatever may come. But when mounting trials and troubles seem too big, too much to handle, they turn back and quit, casting aside their faith.~ David Wilkerson

We must walk by faith. We can speak out good things, but we must also do something. Faith without works is like gold within the earth. It is of no value until it is mined out. And mining requires work. In James 2:17 we read that “faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” Faith cannot stand alone; it has to be coupled with an act- with works.

Some people spend their entire lives waiting for their ship- their needs and requests- to come in. Don’t wait for your ship to come in; swim out to it! Make an effort. Quit sitting around waiting for a ship to come by and for somebody to throw you something over the side. Thomas Edison said it best: Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” Faith activates God’s will in our lives.

They can look at me in my hour of crisis and say, “There is hope! There stands someone who hasn’t lost faith in God. There is a fighter who won’t quit. He trusts his God.”
