8 pro-lifers including Chatham Bible church stood in the gap with the
thunderstorms and high winds approaching. Sidewalk counselor, Debbie was
able to talk with the saves confirming that they didn’t have the abortion
and accepted literature
Deathcamp
assistant education director Allison
Hile called the local police to report proclaimers were blocking the
driveway. I guess the large crowd of lifesavers irritated her; it guaranteed
a dent in this mill’s cash flow today. The responding officer told
lifesavers they were okay, and that they get called all the time by this
clinic. In other words, this clinic likes to waste taxpayers’ money with
their “crying wolf” routine.

With bitterly cold 45 mile per hour winds we prayed and read
scripture to the mothers and fathers going in to kill their children. No

Our first taste of the bitter winter weather that
lay ahead, we strived to stay warm; the sun felt good on our faces as we
cried out for the innocent babies being led to their slaughter. Covenant
babies were being murdered as we noticed the crosses and fish pins on the
cars this evening. One professing Christian woman accomplice became
indignant when we pointed out the fact she was as guilty as the get-away
driver in a bank robbery for bringing her friend to kill her baby. What is
your church preaching?
We were
able to talk with an
Illinois
couple who changed their minds and left with their baby still ALIVE! We were
informed the injunction against the 24 hour waiting period before a mother
can receive an abortion in
Missouri
had been lifted, and was effective immediately. This was good law for
Missouri
, but bad for
Illinois
. We have already noticed a 20-30% increase of
Missouri
mothers coming across state lines with the closure of the abortion mill in
Springfield
,
Missouri
. God have mercy!

numbers had swelled to a good dozen, it was encouraging to see the love of
Jesus on the sidewalk this day to the lost and the needy who were in a place
they shouldn’t be. Saints were able to talk with two couples even before
the ultrasound van rolled up to the crime scene. We were also able to talk
with a Hispanic couple who spoke little English and we showed them pro-life
literature with pictures of their unborn baby and they left this abortion
mill. PTL!

Lifesavers began the morning by praising the Lord and praying
up for the spiritual battle on the devil’s playground. One single rabbi
with his “clergy for a
poor-choice” sign stood nervously waiting for his compadres from
St. Louis
,
MO.
Eden Theological Seminary, “called to lead…straight to hell," to
arrive which they eventually did. They were laughing and joking as they
escorted these mothers and their children inside to their deaths and were
holding their “pro-choice and I pray” and “Pro-faith, pro-family, and
poor choice” signs. Bro. John preached the Word of God to these sheep in
wolves clothing. Angela reminded the Rabbi of how hypocritical it was of him
to be holding his Star of David “pro-choice” sign after 6 million Jews
were murdered in the Nazi Holocaust and him to be supportive of another
Holocaust.
We
approached a car on the back lot with a mother and daughter from
Illinois
, we offered to help them and show them a free picture of their baby. The
mother was more concerned that they had an appointment for counseling.
Angela warned them that once inside they will separate you from your
daughter. There’s a reason why, they want to insure that they get that
baby. The daughter hesitated but gave in as her mother insisted they had an
appointment and they signed in and went in. Saints felt helpless; we
encouraged them, “God isn’t
finished, let’s pray God will touch their hearts and work on them even
though they are inside this extermination camp.” To our delight 30
minutes later they emerged, all three. The mother was angry, she told
Angela, “You were right, they made
me mad, they wouldn’t let me be with my daughter.” I asked, “Do
you want to see your baby?” They both came inside the ultrasound van
where they received counseling and I scanned her swollen tummy. I knew she
was farther along than 6 weeks. We watched her 20
week old baby boy sucking his thumb and occasionally hiccupping. Her
mother, Betty, wiped tears away
as they listened to the baby’s heartbeats. She then hugged Angela. “Thank
God you people are here.” We set up Ashley’s
initial Dr.’s appointment and discussed her college plans and promised to
stay in contact.
Later
that day we prepared for the annual pagan Santa Parade held in

God had
preserved this continent for a people who were governed both internally and
externally by His Word. He provided for the Pilgrims all that they needed to
bring Him glory. How does one bring glory to God? In the words of Jesus, “I
have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.”
John 17:4. One brings God glory on earth by completing the work
He has given us to do. Simple, isn’t it?
This is exactly what our Pilgrim forefathers did. They brought God
glory on earth by completing the great task He had given them to do. It was
costly to be sure, but where would our world be today without the nation
they founded? The Pilgrims viewed their lives as “stepping stones” upon
which future generations might trod as they followed hard after Christ. The
whole world began to recognize that
America
was indeed “a city set on a hill.” It brilliantly displays for all the
world to see that there is a God, that He has revealed himself in the person
of Jesus, and that He honors those who honor Him.
Thanksgiving, more than any other American holiday, points us
directly to Christ and His providential hand in our national history. It
points to the fact that this was a nation founded by Christians. It points
to the fact that our governmental system was built upon biblical principles.
It points to the fact that the inalienable rights of men such as life,
liberty, and the pursuit of happiness were given by God and not by
governments.
Thanksgiving points to the fact that there is another King, one
called Jesus! This is why the devil hates Thanksgiving! The devil knows very
well what will happen to him when we remember who we are and why we are
here. He knows that, when our hearts are set aflame by the purposes of God,
we will crush his hoary head with the Gospel of peace.
Thanksgiving, that great day of remembrance, points to God and His
manifold workings on man’ behalf. He is the sovereign of the cosmos and
apart from Him we can do nothing. ~The
Theft of Thanksgiving
Have a blessed Thanksgiving~
