Two older black women walked out carrying their brown bag indicating they killed their baby. They took a small Bible as they got in their car. After pulling onto the street, they rolled down their window laughing hysterically and threw God’s Word onto the filthy street and drove away. How their rebellious spirit must break God’s heart.

Wednesday- 28      MO, IL      1 save      3 pro-lifers   Mark Levy, attorney for Hope(less), rolled onto the crime scene. As he slowly walked inside this house of horrors, a new pro-lifer beseeched him “not to go in there”. He yelled back, “I have a lawsuit against the Michaels,” and he went inside. Five minutes later he came back out with his head hung low, got into his car, and drove off.

Thursday- midnight abortions 43      IN², MO, IL      1 save      6 pro-lifers    It was waxing hot on the sidewalk where we began setting up our pregnancy outreach to the mothers lined up to selfishly take their innocent child’s life. A slight breeze revived us.

Jamie, mother of two already, was walking inside. One pro-lifer stopped her and asked if we could help her; she began crying. They summoned Angela who walked up to the woman. We found out her mother was forcing her to kill. She didn’t know how far along she was and felt hopeless. We set up the ultrasound machine and brought her inside. We didn’t have enough gas to use the generator so we plugged in the battery-pack. The picture came up and I pointed to her 8 week old baby. Jamie looked over and began weeping, “Is that it?” “Yes.” “Oh my, look it’s dancing.” “Yes,” we said, “your baby is auditioning for its life right now.”

After much counseling, she agreed killing her baby was not going to solve her problems. She had a nice apartment, she had a good job, what she didn’t have was a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We prayed inside the van and she agreed to follow-up with her doctor and keep in touch. As we walked her to her car, she hugged and thanked us for helping her and being there.    

            How many more lives could be saved if people just cared enough to show up? Instead of just throwing money at the problem, care enough to show up. And if you can’t show up, then support those who do. Cutting checks to empty buildings that are closed on the busiest killing days at the abortion mill is not saving babies. It’s paying salaries and covering up the sin of inaction.

Friday- 45      TN², KS, IA, IN², MO, IL      8 pro-lifers         Uneventful surgical birth-control day. The KKK would be celebrating to see all those black babies being lynched. Bottom line: we are dealing with the sin of fornication. Like Rachel, a recent save, told us, “I’m ashamed to admit I have four babies out of wedlock by three different men. I like my sex.” Just like in the Bible King David and Bathsheba committed adultery. David lusted after Bathsheba a married woman, which resulted in a pregnancy which David answered the problem with murder to hide his shame and the sin.  He had Bathsheba's husband, Uriah, placed on the front lines of the battle where he was eventually killed.We are dealing with the sin of fornication and adultery everyday on that sidewalk. How many innocent Uriah's are being taken into the abortion clinic and killed? The abortion industry is laughing all the way to the bank. 

        Summer Truth Tour continues outside Oliver Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Upper management and hospital staff came out wanting to know why we were there, and we informed them they have abortionist Yogendra Shah on staff who kills babies at Hope Clinic in Granite City.

Saturday- 54      TN, IA, KS, IN, CO, MO, IL      3 saves       80 pro-lifers           One day before Father’s Day. It was waxing hot outside this baby-killing factory, but one faithful church which drove over two hours with their congregation showed up for the battle. “Going Against the Current” is their motto. Praise God as they did the Jericho march, it was invigorating to the tired and battle worn remnant who stands daily.

Early on God was blessing our efforts with fruit. Even if we had to lose a toe or two...one angry black woman was mad that her friend refused to go through with the abortion and tried to run over Angela with her car. She deliberately drove over the tip of her toe as she was walking through the parking lot of the hospital. We applied ice and all was good. A life was saved!

While Pastor Todd led in prayer, we talked with a couple parked in their car. They accepted the resource info and drove away. At different times, two pregnant mothers walked inside to kill with their #5 Cardinal jerseys on. I was livid. Once again I called over to them, “Albert Pujols would never take his child inside to be murdered. He would lay his life down for his baby.”

An angry family yelled at lifesavers offering a free ultrasound and help. The mother yelled “She was raped...” and cursed us and went inside. The baby is an innocent victim, you don’t compound one violent act with another. Why must a baby die? Thirty minutes later they came back out. The mother yelled over, “Yes, we saved the baby.” Praise God! They drove back to Missouri .

We noticed baby shoes hanging from the only tree outside this abortion mill. The militant deathscorts began grabbing them off the tree’s branches. “Those terrible disgusting things. How horrid,” they thought.  We also were made aware of the aggressive lesbian deathscorts versus the gay –girly male counterpart escort walking these innocent babies inside to their slaughter. One rabid lesbian actually scolded the girly-male gay deathscort for not being as rude and aggressive as she was to the rosary group and the sidewalk counselors. She yelled at him asking “What, are you turning into, one of them?” He hung his head down and stood in the corner of this deathcamp.

Later that morning when the deathscorts were walking to their cars, I ran up to this male deathscort and I apologized for his female counterpart being so mean and hateful towards him. He thanked me and he asked me if I was, “The famous one with the radio program and the website?” The female deathscort grabbed his arm and said, “Maybe she’ll make you famous and put you on her website. I’m on her website.” I asked him if I would see him next weekend. He looked puzzled. I then interjected, “At the Gay Pridefest in St. Louis ?” He smiled, then all got in their cars and drove away.

194 babies killed. 7 babies saved. 1826 saves since January 2000 and 22 babies have been adopted through Small Victories!

Mothers and fathers should be laying their lives down for their children, not our innocent children laying their lives down for their parents.

There’s going to come a time when this deathcamp will be closed and everyone and their momma will be running over slapping each other on the back and taking credit, “Look what we did!” But God knows the truth.

Were you apart of the resistance movement? Were you a rescuer? Did you literally intercede and try to lay your life down for another? Did you love your brothers and sisters enough? Did you care?

Did you prayerfully or financially support those that do take risks and show up for the battle on the front lines, that cry out for justice, those that may lose their jobs, lose their reputation, lose their good standing in the community because they cared enough for those without a voice?   

            Do you know what insanity is? Doing the same thing and getting the same results. Unfortunately, that could be the motto for the pro-life movement. We keep doing the same things year in and year out while thinking that one day we’ll get different results. We’ve been at this for about thirty-three years now, but we don’t have thirty-three years experience. What we’ve got is one year’s experience thirty-three times.  

            The primary reason this situation exists is because some pro-life organizations are being run by people who worry about what they will do for a living if abortion ends tomorrow. They are what I call crusaders who have fallen in love with the crusade.

            I am not suggesting that these people are not pro-life. What I’m talking about is priorities. It may be uncomfortable to hear, but the reality is that there are people within the pro-life community who no longer see their primary objective as stopping abortion, but perpetuating their own organizations.

            That mindset is what creates this innovation vacuum.

            But that’s only half the problem. The other half is that they don’t want anyone else to introduce new ideas either. Innovation by other pro-life organizations is seen as a challenge to their self-appointed ownership of the movement, and I have personally seen them try to destroy worthwhile pro-life initiatives only because those initiatives did not originate with them.

            The reason why the vast majority of churches are not involved in the fight against abortion is actually quite simple. It takes courage and character they simply don’t have.

            Trading moral authority for comfort, convenience, and popularity has become a tradition of the modern clergy. When Africans were being captured, bought, sold and brutalized, church leaders conveniently decided that slavery was none of their business and looked the other way. And when the Nazis began to slaughter millions of innocent human beings, also claiming that their victims were not fully human, the church again decided it was none of their business and looked the other way.

            So now that another group of “not fully humans” are being legally butchered by the millions, we should not be surprised that spineless priests and spineless pastors are choosing to look the other way.

            Some pro-lifers say that if we will just educate the clergy about abortion, they will get on board. That is nonsense. These guys may not know all the repugnant details about abortion, but every pastor and priest in America knows that it is the deliberate killing of an innocent and defenseless baby. They also know that they have an obligation to fight against it. So don’t be misled. The missing ingredient here is not education, but courage.

            The silent and dormant church is the abortion industry’s single greatest ally. The abortion holocaust would end overnight if just a fraction of this nation’s 700,000 churches became active in the battle.                    

Abortion exists because the church of Jesus Christ allows it to exist. The sign outside the Hope abortion Clinic should read: We’ve slaughtered over 400,000 human beings and we stay open by permission of the local 73 dormant churches.
