wrapped up the radio program and rolled up to the crime scene to take up the
second shift of watchmen on the wall. Morgan
Co. Right to Life held a peaceful, prayerful vigil throughout the early
afternoon. One young mother saved her baby on their watch. They brought a
youth group and it was an education for them as they prayed and pleaded for
the babies.
Many of the mothers cursed and mocked God’s Word as we tried in vain
to dissuade them. Only Mia and myself were left standing; it was getting dark.
The police officer across the street was finishing up his report and
occasionally looked over at us. This is a dangerous area when night falls. We
felt it was time to pack up and head home. Before we left, we spoke with a
couple who confirmed they were keeping their baby.
Earlier in the day over in
St. Louis
at Planned Parenthood, 2 saints stood in the gap where approx. 23 babies were
walked inside this deathcamp. Abortionist John Stopple was the hired assassin.
The male prayer warrior explained to Daniel how lonely it has been standing in
the gap almost by himself all winter, praying and pleading for these babies’
lives to be spared. He added, “A
small group of Catholics will come out on Saturdays.”
Lord, our prayer is for more
hearts to be stirred to the call outside this deathcamp.

the federal appeals court in St. Louis, Missouri was hearing arguments
regarding the South Dakota abortion ban that was voted down this past year and
being heard on appeal, we took the proclaiming line to the Madison Co.
Courthouse in Edwardsville Illinois where, for the most part, we were well
received Many attorneys and
passer-bys gave us a thumbs up as we held our pro-life signs and did some free
advertising for Hope abortion mill’s attorney. Read “Abortion
protest outside courthouse leads to arrest”.
It’s all good!

5 pro-lifers Winter
had returned as we fought the winds and the bitter cold. Mothers were pouring
inside this deathcamp. These were not little girls who were making babies in
the back seat of their boyfriend’s car. We watched many thirty-ish and
forty-ish women walking in, some laughing, to rid themselves of the
responsibility of raising a child. We worked feverishly to talk with every
woman walking inside or driving onto the lot.
Throughout the morning, two precious babies were spared, including a
young lady from
Belleville
,
Illinois
who chose life for her baby this day.

7 pro-lifers The
sun peaked through the cold to help warm us outside this deathcamp. We had
many conversations this day with the mothers and their accomplices.
One grandmother tried to justify her actions to Daniel and Jack. Her
daughter was a senior in high school and had plans for college. She was 20
weeks pregnant. They were Christians and knew this was wrong, but her
education was more important than an innocent life. Her mother said she would
go back inside and try and talk her out of it. She never came back out during
our watch.
We were able to speak with a young family carrying a child in a pumpkin
seat. Her name was Andrea. We
explained our free services outside this abortion mill and made the comment, “You
don’t want to go in there and do that to your baby.” She broke down
and began crying. Jack began praying the “Our Father” and I held her
trembling body and whispered pleas of mercy for her innocent child. She
didn’t want the abortion, the father of her babies wanted it. He came over
and grabbed her from our arms and began pulling her away from us and telling
her she, “needed to go in there if
she wanted to go home with him.” We realized our words were worthless.
We immediately bowed our heads and began praying for God’s intervention.
Yes, it was disheartening, but just like the frontlines of the battle we did
what our Commander told us to do. We had to get over it and move on to the
next potential casualty of this war. It was like a triage on the frontlines of
the war.
“Serena” and her mom
came over to us and told us they were keeping their 8
week old baby from
Missouri
. Praise God!
Another black American family stepped out from the slaughterhouse. She
was upset and the man held her while the older woman stood by and watched. We
pleaded with them to, “Choose
blessings or curses this day,” that God had plans for them to prosper, Jeremiah
29. The young man walked over to me and accepted the literature and
said they were talking it over and he didn’t want to do it. He thanked us
and walked back over to her and they talked for a few more minutes, then
opened the abortuary door and walked back inside. They never came out during
our watch.
Hours later, couples began staggering out with their taka-homa-saks. We
told them that God had a plan for their lives. One couple told me to, “Go
to hell.” They, “don’t
believe in God.” The young boy took our literature anyhow and walked
down the street.
Another couple of black descent walked out and told me, “Get
away from me white lady.” The repercussions of the “Imus in the
Morning” fallout was in full swing. Racism is on the warpath. The worst form
of racism is to kill your own child, your own race.
The baby body parts courier pulled up and retrieved boxes of dead
babies and shoved them in the car and sped off.
Later that day, Small Victories save little “Cara
Nicole” made her debut, weighing 6lbs.
12oz. 20 inches. The day ended on a high note.

It started out with a cold, steady drizzle which soon turned into a
deluge pouring waves of constant rain. Not only was it a spiritual battle, but
an endurance battle of sorts outside these gates of hell.
The Lord’s army showed up in bus and van loads from across
Southern Illinois
, over two hours of driving. As soon as their feet hit the bloody pavement,
the skies opened. Pastor Todd led in prayer and introduced three other pastors
and some of their congregations.
It was an awesome sight to behold! Moms, dads, children, and grandpas and
grandmas marched around this deathcamp in the pouring rain with signs that
read “Life is precious”, “I
want to live”, and “Stop
abortion”. We, the battle fatigued remnant, were so inspired and blessed
for the reinforcements this day.
In the driving rain, the sidewalk counselors were able to approach many
cars and speak with the occupants. It was so disheartening to see so many from
the black community seeking instant relief from the responsibility of a child.
One irresponsible male sat down low in the back seat of one car with two young
girls. He was decked out with major “bling”
designer clothing. We knew what he was all about. He could of cared less. He
asked me to produce some money and he would think about not making her go in
there. The driver took our brochure and was reading it when I began telling
him about black genocide. He told me to,
“Shut-up,” or he was “gonna
pop” me. I stood up and told him, “If
that’s a threat, I can call the police and we will see how long your
rap-sheet is.” I felt the Holy Spirit moving me away for my safety. He
then sat up and had a sober look on his face. They eventually got out and
walked inside.
A church from
Granite City
showed up in this weather and joined our ranks
The tornadic winds broke one of the pastors umbrellas. I told him to
hang onto it for church services in the morning as a witness… In other
words, “Show ‘em your battle
scars.”
On the fifth round of a “
Jericho
March”, I noticed Daniel was missing not only gloves from the round
before but now his coat. I inquired. He informed me,
“Some of the new people didn’t dress for the weather,” so he lent
first his gloves, then his coat. I told him “All
you have left are your pants. You had better keep those-(this town has laws,
you know!) and went off to join the marchers as he grinned.
It was so rewarding to see the
Church
of
Jesus Christ
being the Church this day. Pastors then took the proclaiming lines over to the
main throughfare in this City of
Slaughter
and stretched the Christian soldiers out along the roadway to bear witness to
and reminded the residents and those passer-bys of the atrocity and blight
that goes on and resides in their fair city. We were there to wake up the
locals, their leaders, pastors, and fellow human beings. Little people are
being premeditatedly murdered within the city limits. A serial killer is on
the loose in
Granite City
. It was time to cut off the devil’s bloodline. He roams freely about and
his victims are the smallest and weakest among us. He thrives on innocent
blood.
Fr. Gene showed up to pray the rosary in the downpour and Mercy’s
Child sang on the front sidewalk in the inclimate weather.
To our surprise, a father who saved his boys from the abortion mill
years ago, showed up all the way from Kentucky to reacquaint us with them and
let us know he named them both Michael after those who helped to save them.
The proclaimers were so encouraged to see babies that were saved and a
grateful father. We hugged and promised to stay in touch.
Throughout the stormy morning, three babies were spared including Tara
and Tim 8 weeks pregnant from
Cape Girardeau
,
Missouri
. We stood for five hours in the pouring rain to the disbelief of those
fair-weathered friends. It was the least we could do to bring some dignity to
those without a voice, who lost their lives this day.
As in the parable of the Good Samaritan, we are to love our neighbor as
ourselves. To take pity on the downtrodden and those who have been robbed as
the man who lay on the road side. Many a Levite, a priest stepped across the
road as not to look or lift one finger to help the beaten and naked man, but
the Good Samaritan stepped down into the trenches as we do daily outside this
deathcamp and showed mercy. As Jesus commanded, “Go
and do likewise”. Are we listening? Luke
10:25-37.
Approx.
164 babies killed. 10 babies saved. Approx. 119 pro-lifers cared enough to
show up throughout the week’s massacre. 2230 saves since January 2000 and 23
babies have been adopted through Small Victories!
Be encouraged~ Angela
