Independence Day Our
day began early as we and friends awoke early to blacktop the restaurant’s
parking lot before it got too hot this day. We remembered our nation’s 231st
birthday. The day was celebrated with the traditional picnics and barbeques.
It wouldn’t be the 4th of July without the threat of
thunderstorms. God is good! He provided a window of dry time so we could enjoy
the fireworks. Beautiful prisms of color and the smell of sulfur filled the
night skies. The “ooohs” and “aahhs”
could be heard as another firework exploded. Thank you God for our freedoms
and those that serve our country now and for those who paid the ultimate
price.

work! Hope abortion mill was not about to sit on their laurels; there was
money to be made. It was boiling hot as the humidity and high temperatures
were bearing down on us as we made our rounds outside this deathcamp.
The City of
Slaughter
’s beautification campaign was in full swing as they were paving the bloody
washboard roadway which leads to this slaughterhouse. This baby-dumping mill
attracts revenue from all 49 states
and the city fathers want to ensure a smooth ride for the customers visiting
this “abominable” attraction. As we stood on the front sidewalk pleading
mercy for the innocents, the asphalt was being poured out and pressed out. It
was sizzling the back of our legs and our backs were burning from the heat. I
can’t imagine what hell feels like, but this was close. Sweat poured off us,
but the fruit of our labors was being shown.
An older couple talked with us; they were in their upper forties and
decided to keep their third child. Their other children were grown. We told
them, “This is a blessing! Remember
Abraham and Sarah.” They laughed, accepted our literature, thanked us,
and drove off.
A young couple from
Illinois
came out and told us they were 8 weeks
pregnant and were keeping their baby and drove off the lot.
Just then, something unbelievable happened. “Diamond”,
14 years old and 15 weeks pregnant,
walked into our arms crying and terrified. We tried to calm her down and ask
good questions. She began sharing how she wanted this baby but was being
forced to kill because the baby’s father was an older man and currently
incarcerated. “That’s statutory
rape.”
Just then, her mother and Debra Knox-Diederman appeared around the
corner and I couldn’t believe it, but Debra grabbed the pregnant girl and
put her in a headlock and began pulling her inside. Her mother stood there
watching and we yelled for her to not let Debra treat her daughter that way, “That’s
your child she is forcing back inside.” Then the mother began screaming
at the abortion mill employee. Debra yelled at the girl, “I
just don’t want you by the protestors.” “Yeah, I guess not. She
doesn’t want any witnesses,” we said. The girl was begging her to
stop. I then yelled to Daniel, “Call the police!”
Debra managed to take them aside by the front door and fill their
heads. We were offering to take this girl in and help her. A few minutes later
they walked to their car. The girl took our literature and I whispered in her
ear, “Don’t believe the lies of
the abortion clinic. We can help you,” and I gave her our number. We
prayed the police would show up but they didn’t. We have played this
unfortunate situation out many times in our 14 year history. The local law
enforcement drags their feet in responding to our calls for help or assistance
in reporting a crime.
A local couple stopped by and shared a horrible experience they endured
at the hands of this local abortionist years ago. She went for a gynecological
exam. She was 46 years old and her husband was 60 years old. She suspected she
was pregnant. Yogendra Shah asked her how old she was and how many children
she had. “Four,” she answered.
Yogendra then said, “Well, you
don’t need any kids.”
What happened next was absolutely unbelievable. After examining her, he
told her she was pregnant. As she lay there, Yogendra punched her in the
stomach twice. She screamed so loud her husband could hear her in the waiting
area. He just didn’t know how to get to her. Two days later she awoke and
went to the bathroom where she delivered her dead baby in the toilet. She
stated she, “was scared and didn’t
get a lawyer,” because she thought you’re not supposed to sue a
brother or sister. “He is not a
Christian,” we told her. We have heard similar stories of this serial
killer’s compassionate bedside manner when it comes to unborn children.
The Small Victories team who stayed behind reported “
Tanis
”, mother of five already, whom we talked to before she went inside the
slaughterhouse, came back out and told them she was keeping baby # 6. Linda
gave her a brochure with our resources and she let her know she would be
contacting us.

5 pro-lifers It
was another “hotter than Hades” day on that sidewalk surrounding this
slaughterhouse. We began our reconnaissance mission shortly after our arrival.
Bruce told us of an early save he confirmed with before we arrived.
Early on hearts were being changed. Lauren
and Angel walked back out with a
look of desperation on their faces. They walked right into our arms after we
asked them if we could help them. I signaled for Daniel to crank up the
ultrasound van. We prayed after the most recent repairs it would with stand
this torrid heat and kick on. I told them to wait in their car as we set up.
AMEN! You could hear the
puttering…like a dog with its tongue hanging out. The van generator kicked
in and we walked them inside. I apologized for the heat inside the van, “But,
it’s the best we can do in these conditions.” They didn’t seem to
mind. I noticed the beads of sweat on her forehead. I placed the scanner on
her protruding tummy. “There’s
your baby!” She peered over and smiled. “Would
you like to know what your having?” “Yes,” she answered. We poked
around and did some measurements. It appeared to be a 19.2
week old little boy. As we went over further instructions, we walked them
to their car. Lauren turned to me and thanked us and said, “I’m
glad you’re here.” Praise God!
A man in a mini-van dropped off some bottles of water to help quench
our parched throats. It didn’t take long before our clothing was drenched
with perspiration.
An angry woman named “
Sandy
” who brought a girl to kill her baby, was waiting in her mini-van. I
could tell she was seeking shelter in the shade. Her van was without
air-conditioning, and the small children were getting hot. I pointed to the
other side of the mill where there was shade.
”Oh no!” She then explained
what had happened earlier. She took our literature and talked for a few more
minutes then pulled onto the parking lot and sat in the sun waiting it out.
Two young girls began walking inside then noticed the van and began
walking towards me. They needed help. The one girl named Ashley
said, “I remember you. You helped me
a couple years ago.” We prayed again that the ultrasound van would kick
on. Praise God! The motor began puttering once again. This was Angel’s
first pregnancy; Andy the father
was anxious. I placed the scanner on her abdomen and began taking a history.
Soon a little 8 week old baby began
auditioning. “Oh my God!” Andy
exclaimed. “There is your baby!”
Angel began crying tears of joy. “Is
he okay?” she asked. “So far
everything appears good.” I inquired if she had a doctor and we set up
an appointment with our resident obstetricians who work with us and confirm
our preliminary findings.
The baby body parts courier arrived. We noticed her “bump” as the
deathcamp guard held the door for her while she carried boxes of mutilated
babies and placed them in her car and took off.

The day began early as we received word a baby
was about to make its debut. It was 3:40 a.m. Babies don’t have clocks. We
left standing orders for the rest of the ministry team as we packed up and in
true “Dagwood Bumstead” fashion ran to the car and headed onto the highway
for the hospital. We had a drive ahead of us and planned on beating this
baby’s entrance. We did our best to stick to the posted speed limit, but in
between the prayers for a safe delivery, we rehearsed various excuses if law
enforcement dared to pull us over. For once, we had a good excuse!
After getting lost in this unfamiliarly large hospital, we found the
right tower and rushed to the floor where we were informed to, “Gown
up, it’s show time!” After six good pushes, baby “Joseph”
entered our world weighing 8 lbs. 6
ounces 20 ½ in. long. Beautiful strawberry blond hair and acapella lungs.
Thank you God for this little miracle!
Meanwhile, down in the City of
Slaughter
on the frontlines, God blessed us with three precious babies’ lives being
spared. A young couple from
Illinois
came back out of the abortion clinic. Ken rushed over to them and offered a
Small Victories brochure. They accepted it and confirmed with us that they
saved their baby, Praise God!
Not long after, a mother and daughter from
Missouri
walked back out. We asked the daughter if she saved her baby. She gave a big
smile and said, “Yes!” They
were happy as they got in their car and drove off.
Another man and woman from
Missouri
came back out of the clinic. As they were pulling out of the abortion mill
lot, they informed us that they did not get an abortion and were keeping their
baby.
What a beautiful week for life. You will know a tree by its fruits.
This week we saw much fruit, even with the long days, torrid heat, and the
disabled ultrasound van, God brought us through. By His grace hearts were
touched, lives were saved and brought into the world.
Approx.
129 babies killed. 14 babies saved. Approx. 29 pro-lifers cared enough to show
up throughout the week’s massacre. 2352 saves since January 2000 and 23
babies have been adopted through Small Victories!
These are treacherous days.
We are living in perilous times. 2 Timothy: 3 days. Suddenly scriptures are
making sense. You must remember we are at war on the frontlines of this
battle. The enemy is always trying
to pull everyone else to do to you what he is doing to you. The devil creates
a kind of force field, a gravitational pull around you that draws everyone
else to the plot without their even knowing it. 1
John 3:10 “This is how we know who the children of God are and who the
children of devil are: Anyone who do not do what is right is not a child of
God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.” Keep a
watchful eye for it and resist it. Do not get sucked into the pull. Resist the
enemy and he will flee.
You’ve heard the saying, “Keep
your friends close, but your enemies closer.”
It works like this: hyenas cannot bring down a lion in its prime. What
they do is run it and taunt it and wear it down to the point of exhaustion.
Once they see it cannot defend itself, then they close in for the kill. Psalm
102:8 “All day long my enemies taunt me. Those who rail against me use my
name as a curse.”
When we’re going through fiery trials, this is the time to glorify
the Lord. Our Lord is much, much greater than anything that will ever come
against us.
Mark
11:22-25 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “I tell you the truth, if
anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does
not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be
done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe
that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying,
if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in
heaven may forgive you your sins.”
The young Marines who landed on Iwo Jima were forced to drive out the
Japanese inch by inch, battling an enemy they could not see while being
exposed to every sort of weapons fire form every possible direction. Some
survivors reported that they never saw one living Japanese soldier in all
those days of combat.Sounds like a spiritual battle. It took 36 days and cost
nearly 7,000 American lives.
We are at war and war is hell.
If we think we can do anything for God without opposition, we are
wrong. Jesus warned us that in
this life we will have tribulation (John
16:33). He said that if people hated and persecuted Him, they will
also hate and persecute us, because we belong to Him (John
15:18, 20).
We must remember that the devil
is not going to just sit back and allow us to take new ground without putting
up a fight. Any time we begin to make progress in building the
kingdom
of
God
, our enemy will come against us. The
enemy wants what you have, but they are not willing to go through what you did
to get where you're at.
We are at war. This is the beginning of the end. The hour is late and
you are needed.
Psalm
108:12-13 “Give us aid against the enemy for the help of man is worthless.
With God we will gain the victory and trample down our enemies.”
