arrived earlier than usual. Tempers were as hot as the weather. A church
group made their appearance and screamed and berated the mothers going
inside. No one came back out or accepted any Bibles.
A mother and daughter from
Missouri
walked over to Daniel and took the literature and told him they were keeping
the baby. Another couple from
Kentucky
came out and took the brochure and told him they had saved their baby and
drove away. Praise God!

pro-lifers It felt
like the middle of August standing in the morning sun and heat. It was
stifling. Our children joined us praying and interceding for the babies.
Isabella held her little sign and quietly asked the mothers entering the
baby dumping mill “Please don’t kill your babies.”
Once again, we got a workout intercepting the mothers as they were
premeditatedly planning on murdering their babies. One PT Cruiser with a
young couple from
Missouri
stopped and listened to me as I offered to help them with free resources.
The young girl started waving her hands stating “No...I got to get it out
of me. I don’t want it. I can’t carry a baby and give it up for
adoption.” The driver “James” seemed interested in my offer. She
motioned for him to park the car and yelled, “I got to get it out!” They
got out and went inside.
Gina and Teshemia 26 weeks pregnant called us after leaving the
abortion mill and told us they saved their baby but would be needing
supplies. They were very sweet and grateful.
It took two baby body parts couriers to pick up the oversized boxes
containing biohazard bags full of butchered babies from the past week.

Day was being celebrated across our nation. I was reminded of our
forefathers who died in pursuit of our freedoms.
I’m
quite sure it never entered their minds that the sacrifice of innocent
babies, our future, we would be fighting for. It was the patriots’ blood
that was shed that paid for our freedom. Now, it’s the silence of the
church that pays for the blood of the unborn.
We spoke with a black American family whose daughter was over 20
weeks pregnant. We couldn’t help but notice the pink ribbon on their
Illinois
license plate. It represented the fight against breast cancer. With the
upcoming Komen Race for the Cure this weekend I thought, “How ironic! The
second leading cancer in women is breast cancer. The most preventable risk
factor is NOT having an abortion.” A while later they all came out still
pregnant. They had changed their mind on the abortion, Praise God!
There were a lot of post-abortive check-ups this day. Another couple
from
Missouri
came out and told us they were keeping their baby and left.

was a scorcher standing in the alley. The sun and heat were bearing down on
us. Mothers were pouring inside to begin the late term murders of their
children. God was in control. We had faith that we could do all things
through Christ who strengthens us.
We had back-to-back saves early on. Brittney and friend came out and
I asked the ladies if I could help them. Brittney looked upset. She came
over and explained the situation. I told Daniel to set up the ultrasound.
A couple from
Indiana
came out and sat in their car. I told Britney to sit in her car and keep
cool as we set up. Jessica and her driver rolled their window down and I
began speaking, “The Lord told me you are struggling with this.” She had
tears in her eyes. She was 19.5 weeks pregnant. I held the driver’s hand
and began praying for them. I asked the Lord to, “fill them with peace and
encouragement.” It was the hardest thing to do to walk back out, but God
had plans for them to prosper; to put them back on the highway and get them
safely home. They thanked me and took our brochure and resources. “Thank
you God!”
We then were ready to show Brittney a picture of her baby. She was
scared. She shared how she already had a four-year-old. Her 6.2 week old
baby quickly made his appearance on the ultrasound screen and she began
weeping. “Look! There he is.” She needed a doctor. I promised her that
if she promised not to go back in there, we would have her a doctor’s
appointment that day. She was from
Cape Giradeau
,
Missouri
.
Isabella came inside the van and was delighted to see the baby on the
ultrasound screen. I introduced part of our large family to her and
explained our ministry. She was humbled. “I think that’s great what you
are doing out here.” They hugged us and promised to keep in touch. Later
that afternoon, after we returned home, I was able through the grace of God
to locate a pro-life doctor and mentors to minister to Brittney. We phoned
her and gave her the good news. Praise God!
“Michael”, a believer holding his 18-month-old grandson’s hand,
was walking his young daughter inside to kill her unborn baby. After he got
her inside, he came over and spoke with us. He agrees this is wrong, but
what can he do? He is already raising her son. She refuses to take
responsibility and Michael the grandfather is not willing to raise another
grandchild. He told us he “knows this is sinful.” They are related to a
well known
African-American
Church
leader in
St. Louis
, and if he knew, it would crush him. But Michael felt he had no recourse.
We continued to explain that, “Using surgical abortion as
birth-control doesn’t give her a way out from her problems. It’s a
temporary fix to a long-term problem.” Michael then said he was going out
to buy a gun and brass knuckles. “You can’t answer this with more
violence,” we told him. He said, “This is it. I’ve had it. She needs
to grow up or I’m putting her out.” We then asked him to join us in
prayer, which he did.
You couldn’t help but sympathize with this man and his frustration,
but this is the way of the world. He asked for our number so he could keep
in touch. He thanked us and took his grandson over to McDonalds while his
daughter killed the other grandbaby. So sad…we see a lot of parents
raising their grandchildren when they should be enjoying their golden years,
but this is how our nation is going.

was sweltering on the sidewalk at 6:00 a.m. We began in prayer and set up
the pregnancy resource van. The Susan Komen Race for the Cure was already
underway. After the second half of our ministry arrived, we headed over to
St. Louis
,
Missouri
to witness and deliver God’s mail to this breast cancer foundation’s
largest fundraiser and supporters. Before we left, there was an explosion
two blocks down from the baby dumping mill. A plume of black smoke was
billowing in the air. The oxygen factory was on fire. Emergency crisis
management and rescue vehicles flew by us. Read: Truth Reigns on Susan G.
Komen Race for the Cure.
When we returned to these gates of hell we were exhausted, but glad
to see our prayer warriors’ number had increased as they stood in the gap
peaceably and prayerfully interceding for the unborn and their mothers.
Daniel told us, “We have witnessed two confirmed saves: “Big Ted” and
Marita from
Missouri
kept their baby, and a mom and daughter from
Illinois
accepted the literature and kept their baby.”
Linda, another nurse who
drives two hours to sidewalk counsel, expressed their disgust with the
religious bullies that were attacking the mothers. She said 16 men and two
jezebels surrounded one young pregnant girl in the alley, screaming and
hurling insults at her. She covered her ears with both hands and ran inside.
Linda was so grieved by the spectacle, it made her physically sick.
“I don’t know how you do this every day.” Daniel shared, “Thank God
they only come one day a week.”
I thought of 1 Chronicles
12:16-17 “Other Benjamites and some men from
Judah
also came to David in his stronghold. David went out to meet them and said
to them, ‘If you have come to me in peace, to help me, I am ready to have
you unite with me. But if you have come to betray me to my enemies when my
hands are free from violence, may the God of our fathers see it and judge
you.’”
Tom, a fellow supporter, stood with us and told us of the little
troublemaker who gossips and puts out slanderous videos of fellow
pro-lifers. This wicked man was working on another one and was looking for
takers. Not everyone outside this deathcamp is a Christian. The devil uses
them to destroy God’s work, Nehemiah 4.
Most of these stiff-necked people are unchurched or have been removed from
churches. They will not take correction or come under any authority. They
are angry, prideful, and bitter. The
American
Church
is so filled with sin, why shouldn’t we expect that sin to show up on this
sidewalk? As the Church goes, so does the nation.
Another “Tom” came by and spoke to Linda and myself. He carries
his pro-choice sign and said, “I’ve got to ask you something.” I said,
“What’s that?” He said, “I can’t believe how these people in the
alley treat you and you are here trying to talk with these women and offer
them information and help. I watch the so-called ‘pro-life’ crowd attack
and shout at you. Why don’t you get a small area of that building so those
people can’t bother you?” We agreed, “That would be good. Thanks for
the suggestion.” He continued walking with his sign.
Another man held a sign that stated, “The King James Bible is
gay.” Funny…we see it all outside here on the devil’s playground.
Approx.
159 babies killed. 12 babies saved. Approx. 44 pro-lifers cared enough to
show up throughout the week’s massacre. 2316 saves since January 2000 and
23 babies have been adopted through Small Victories!
Some time ago, God got hold of me and he
brought me to my knees. There was a threat of eminent death. We misguidedly
trusted and depended on men when we needed to take it to the throne.
That’s when God broke me. I was making eleventh hour deals with the Lord.
God brought me through. He called the devil a liar and He delivered me from
my illness. That’s when in my brokenness, God showed me my stuff. He
showed me how evil men’s hearts truly are because we depended more on men
than on the Lord to help us. God allowed adversity and things so that we
could see how much we needed him in everything. Our faith was in the Lord,
not in others. God showed me that the heart is desperately wicked.
Who did Jesus tangle with more than any other group? Who started
rumors about Him to try and discredit His ministry? Who kept trying to put
Him on the spot with loaded questions? And when it became clear they could
not shame or intimidate Him back into place, where did the open opposition
to Christ come from? Who paid Judas the thirty pieces of silver? Who got the
crowd to yell for Barabbas when Pilate was ready to let Jesus go?
Religion and its defenders have always been the most insidious enemy
of the true faith precisely because they are not glaring opponents; they are
impostors. A raving pagan is
easier to dismiss than an elder in your church. Before Jesus came along, the
Pharisees ran the show. Everybody took what they said as gospel- even though
it didn’t sound like good news at all. But we wrestle not against flesh
and blood. The Pharisees and their brethren down through the ages have
merely acted- unknowingly, for the most part- as puppets, the mouthpiece of
the Enemy.
Satan realized he couldn’t stop the Church. Oh, he tried. He
arranged to have Jesus killed as a babe, Matthew
2:16. He
tried to seduce Him as a man. He tried to marginalize His message by having
the religious establishment discredit Him. Finally, he had Him crucified. It
backfired. Badly. Then he tried to stop the young Church through
intimidation and through death, having most of them killed. It also
backfired. So he turned to a backup plan. If you can’t beat ‘em…join
‘em. Infiltrate their ranks dressed as an angel of light, Galatians
1:8. Then slowly bring a veil over all that is
good and beautiful and true. Take them captive through their own religion.
God told Jeremiah that before He formed him in the womb, He knew him
and approved of him as His chosen instrument. I am amazed that God chose me.
What could I possibly offer the world? But God took what the world had
abused and hurt and rejected and what was meant for evil has been turned
around for good.
When God saw Jeremiah He did not see perfection. But He did see
someone with a right heart who believed in Him. Despite being scorned and
criticized and attacked, Jeremiah faithfully delivered God’s message, or
as I like to say God’s mail. By honoring God we demonstrate faith,
courage, and obedience.
War is hell. I resonate on Psalms
69:4 “Those who hate me without reason outnumber the hairs on my head.
Many are my enemies without cause, who seek to destroy me. I am forced to
restore what I did not steal.” Verse 7 “I
endure scorn for your sake…”
In Psalm 140
it says “Rescue me O Lord. Protect me from
men of violence who devise evil plans in their hearts and create war every
day. Proud men have hidden a snare. Let slanderers not be established. May
disaster hunt down men of violence…”
Even a stamp takes a licking before it gets to its destination.
Never, never, never give up! God is on our side.
Be encouraged~ Angela
