Death Toll June 18-23, 2007

Reporting from the “Baby-dumping capital of the Midwest” Granite City , IL .

Once known for their towering steel mills, now known for the baby-dumping mill.

Hope Clinic- American Family Extermination Camp “destroying families one child at a time”

Severing over 375,268 mother –child relationships in their 33 year reign of terror

Monday- Bag n’ Tag 159 murdered babies for medical research, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic firms from past week’s carnage.

Tuesday- midnight abortions 36      IN, WI, MO, IL      1 save      3 pro-lifers   Hot, hot, but there was a little breeze as the three of us stood in the gap for the least of these.

A family, including the grandmother, got out of their car from Indiana . They placed a little pumpkin seat on the ground and there was a precious baby boy sitting in it smiling. Daniel said, “Can we help you?” The older woman got indignant. He then pointed out how precious that baby in the carrier was and said, “Ask mommy what they are gonna do to your little brother or sister.” They got this sober look on their faces and proceeded to walk inside.

Praise God, a couple from Illinois came back out and took the literature and saved their child from a horrible death this day.

Wednesday- 5      MO, IL      2 pro-lifers   Finishing up from the day before. Bound for Life stood in the gap.

Thursday- 35      VA, IN2, OR2, MO, IL      4 saves      5 pro-lifers    First day of summer but it felt more like the dog days of summer as the hot sun braised our backs. We got a workout following and attempting to catch as many as we could.

One of the Indiana car’s plates read “In God we Trust”. Evidently they did, as they came back out and saved their unborn baby. Just a little bump in the road. Both cars from Oregon came back out. One rolled down her window and told us they didn’t get the abortion and kept their baby, Praise God!

Two black American girls parked their car in back and began the death walk inside. I pleaded mercy for their child. They were very polite and accepted the literature, but went in. We continued to pray and a few minutes later all three came out and left the area. They didn’t return during our watch.

We spoke with a young couple as they stepped out to take a cigarette break. “Is there anything we can do to save this baby?” we asked. The young man said, “I’m not pregnant, she’s not pregnant,” and they laughed. I replied, “So, you drove all the way here to this slaughterhouse to have a cigarette? Hmmm…”

A beautiful young girl with blond hair was visibly upset and walking in. You could see her protruding tummy. “Please don’t go in there and do something you will regret. You can’t get that baby back.” You could tell she didn’t want to do this. “I pray this man is not forcing you to kill your baby.” They went in and never returned during our watch.

Friday- 42      KY, IN, TN, MO, IL      2 saves      5 pro-lifers     The battle was waxing hot and so was the devil’s playground as we watched pregnant mothers, some wearing P.J.s, some carrying pillows, walking inside to kill their innocent babies.

Tempers must have been flaring as we spoke with an un-pregnant mother walking in for her post abortive checkup. A girl from Kentucky got out of a car and came towards us. I turned my attention from the black American woman and asked the girl if we could help her and offered to show her an ultrasound picture of her baby. She walked up to me and hit me with a bottle, then threw the contents all over me. All three began walking fast and cursing all the way. One wore a shirt that said “Pro-family, pro-choice”. The pregnant girl wore one stating, “Don’t like abortion? Don’t have one.” They stood at the entrance.

Police rolled up to the crime scene, took our statements, and viewed our camera. They went inside the abortion mill. Read: "Pro-lifer assaulted "article.

We continued witnessing to the mothers. A save from yesterday was back; the devil was hard after this baby. They were angry. “You gonna take this baby?” they angrily asked. “Yes,” I said. “She’s only sixteen. She can’t have a baby.” “Please don’t go back in there.” They listened to our pleas, but stormed back inside.

Thirty minutes later, the pregnant girl came out. The older sister was in tow yelling at her and telling her, “Quit acting this way.” I caught up to them. The pregnant girl cursed me and hissed. “It’s okay, we can help her.” I handed her another brochure and asked her, “Why do you feel this baby has to die?” “She is thirty weeks pregnant. She needs housing.” I offered her a maternity home, “We have places that will help you finish school and raise your baby.” The driver looked up and said, “Thank you. Can we call you?” “Absolutely!” I pointed to my number. They were from Cahokia , Illinois .

Saturday- 35      VA, OK, TN, FL, MO, IL      2 saves     10 pro-lifers      2 rosary warriors

4 deathscorts    We were blessed to see the Cape Giradeau prayer warrior couple. The day started early as we rolled up to the slaughterhouse. It was quiet except for some activity coming from the emergency room carport. An ambulance had arrived just minutes before us with a young man inside. His family arrived and ran inside. A few minutes later, this family came out and began wailing. It was the sound of death.

Jeff, a proclaimer, told us we had just missed three young girls who appeared to be strippers who had just gotten off work and were there to kill, unless we could get her some help before the baby’s appointed execution time at 9:00 a.m. We placed a phone call to our local doctor who, praise God!, was praying for our ministry during his morning prayers and his phone rang. We told him of the situation. He would gladly help this pregnant girl. We thanked him and told him to be on standby.

The distraught family could be heard as we attempted to phone this stripper’s cell number and let her know we had found a doctor who would see her. We could only leave messages on her phone. I then felt God was telling me to cross the street and try to comfort this devastated family. The employees and abortion clients still hadn’t arrived.

I went over and knelt beside the two females. It was the fiancé and her mother. “Is there anything I can do to help? I’m so sorry.” This tragedy began unfolding. Courtney last spoke with her boyfriend at 2:00 a.m. when he was going to eat something before going to bed. She awoke before dawn to find her bed empty. She walked into the hallway and found Mark laying facedown with his pillow underneath him. She frantically turned him over while screaming for help to nearby neighbors. She could not get a pulse. Her neighbor helped her attempt CPR. At some point he vomited. An ambulance arrived and brought them to the hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival.

They were inconsolable. Courtney’s mom told me of their upcoming wedding plans and how proud they were of her finishing high school .All we could do was pray and try and comfort them, rocking and holding them and sharing our personal tragedy of losing our little girl. Courtney kept asking, “Why God? How can He be so mean?” “Our God is a loving God. There are no words to explain why tragic things happen, but our God is there to hold us in the palm of His hand and to get us through it. God gives us adversity to make us stronger. He is trying to show us something. He puts people in our paths for a reason. Nothing we say can take the pain away; only time can heal.”

Her mom squeezed my hand harder. Her focus then turned to the police officers who were across the street at the abortion mill. “Why do the protestors yell at them? That doesn’t help,” she said. She got up and left to answer a call on her cell phone.

Her mother then shared with me, as tears welled up again in her eyes, “I want to thank you for helping us.” She said, “13 years ago I killed my baby across the street. The pain and emptiness never goes away…I’m glad you are out here trying to help these women. If I had to do it over again, I would of never done it, but a man was forcing me to get rid of it.”

How many times do we hear this sad trilogy? Abortion hurts. It leaves two victims: one dead and one wounded. The coroner was there and was ready to remove the body. We prayed together and both women hugged me and exchanged phone numbers and thanked us again.

I returned to the sidewalk and was plunged into rescuing efforts as mother were still walking in to murder their babies. A couple from Missouri , with a toddler already, came back out into our arms and told us they had changed their minds and were keeping their second child. Praise God!

Soon, two young girls from Illinois came back out and accepted a brochure and said they had chosen life this day for their baby.

The car load of strippers returned at their appointed killing time to execute the warrant of death out on the innocent child. All three had more clothes on this time. We begged and pleaded mercy, but they were hell-bent on ridding themselves of this responsibility. We acknowledged from the mother that this baby was possibly the product of another man’s seed and her current boyfriend was not the same race. There was no way she could pass this baby off as his. It reminded us of the sin of King David and Bathsheba. We told her, “You still don’t take an innocent baby’s life because of the sins of their parents.

Approx. 153 babies killed. 9 babies saved. Approx. 27 pro-lifers cared enough to show up throughout the week’s massacre. 2325 saves since January 2000 and 23 babies have been adopted through Small Victories!

2 Corinthians 4:1 “Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.”

When victories come into your life, the devil will use anything to come against you. He hates it. When the enemy is coming against you, the most powerful thing you can do is refuse to let it upset you. Instead, be like Nehemiah in Nehemiah 4:9: intensify your prayers and increase your vigilance.

As we live and work for God, opposition will come. Do you find yourself under attack in your ministry? It is vitally important to have people in your life who will faithfully be at your side through prayer and other means of support (see Nehemiah 4:16-17).

Resist the devil and He will flee. Many, many times we have to repeat this outside these gates of hell. If you’re not being persecuted, you’re not much of a threat to the devil. The Lord gives us authority to take dominion and possess the land until He returns. Satan and his helpers would like nothing more than to see the Church of Jesus Christ succumb to defeatism. We are in a combat zone. When you feel you are at your weakest point, the devil sends demons to whisper in your ears, “What are you gonna do now?” repeatedly. Trust God...stand firm…Sometimes out loud I repeat it.

There are treacherous people in the world today who build their kingdoms up by destroying others. Trust God. He will deal will them. “But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and don’t lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.” James 3:14-16

Can you imaging sitting in church on Sunday during the service and the pastor is in the pulpit preaching; all of the sudden, a swarm of ruffians rush up to the pulpit, kick the pastor out, and take over the service? Unfortunately, that is what we see happening to a lot of ministries and a lot of churches. It’s a sign of the times. “Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him.” 1 Peter 5:8-9   “He is filled with fury for he knows his time is short.” Rev. 12:12

“If God has chosen you to be His instrument, to carry His name before the Gentiles, you will suffer…” Acts 9:15-16.

Persecution is a blessing which produces perseverance, character, and hope. Rom. 5:3, Phil. 1:29, I Peter 4:12-14.

We are holding a standard where a standard never flew. Nowadays it is almost unthinkable. You will lose everything, reputation, friends, church, family, maybe your job. We should care less of what man thinks of us and more of what God sees of us.
