day as we watched mothers pour inside this belly of the beast. Our cries of
mercy went unheeded. Hopefully, one turn-away would save her baby this day. Another
Black-genocide day.

pro-lifers There were
a lot of post-abortive mothers going inside for check-ups after they had their
babies. It was sweltering outside these gates of hell.
One man from the week before came back for the check-up. He rolled down
his window and listened and said he was glad for me that we loved children. He
thanked us and pulled onto the lot and went inside.
The body parts courier arrived and placed two large boxes full of
POC’s inside her car and drove off.
A young girl and her mother from
Missouri
came out and told us they were keeping their baby. Another couple from
Illinois
took our literature and stayed the execution of their unborn baby.
The ultrasound van was acting up all the way back home. The engine was
running harder than usual.

5 pro-lifers Another
sweltering day of hot temperatures and humidity as we stood in the gap
pleading the case of the fatherless. Bruce joined us and interceded with
prayer. Many of the mothers were angry as they went inside. The Hope(less)
mill has a “death-mart” greeter to make the mother feel welcome just like
Wal-mart stores do upon entry.
We were able to speak with a three-some who took our literature and
were even willing to get an ultrasound. Unfortunately, our ultrasound van was
sitting in a repair garage with the engine filleted. I tried to get them to
come to our
Highland
office but they went inside. A few minutes later, she came back out and walked
over to me. She told me how far along she was and asked if we could help her. “Absolutely!”
We exchanged information and they thanked us and drove off.
A mother with two older boys came up to us wanting to show her sons
what abortion looks like. “That’s
horrible,” they said. “Is that
what they do here?” the older one asked. “Yes,
they kill babies here.” “Why?” he asked. “Because
the abortion mill makes a lot of money killing babies and their moms and dads
don’t want them.” “That’s sad,” he said. His mother said, “You
better not ever do that. You make a baby, you’d better raise that baby. Take
responsibility,” she said as they walked off.
I was holding the D&E illustration sign. It was powerful.
Just then, another irresponsible male “Neal”
tried to get past us without being noticed. Overly educated Neal wanted to
impress us with a lot of gibberish that didn’t even make sense. “Hold
up Neal,” I said. “You’re a
college boy. You’re not even making sense.” He then pointed to the
illustrated sign I was holding. “That’s
not what’s happening inside.” “Oh yeah?” I responded. “What
do you think happens in there Neal? You think this is a nail salon?” The
death-mart greeter was anxiously looking around the corner trying to get him
inside. “Neal, be a hero instead of
wasting time with this foolishness. Go rescue your little son or daughter.”
He kept wanting to argue and play word games. “Your
child is on death row right now. Go in there and rescue your child!” He
finally walked inside. They never came back out during our watch.
A man on a bike stopped by and told us of his daughter who recently
gave birth at 24 weeks to a little girl who was thriving and how much he loved
her. “How can these people go in
there and kill them and they don’t even flinch?”

pro-lifers In a light
drizzle we began life saving intervention and our ranks were blessed with
Bruce and Bruce, a couple of believers who wanted to make a difference on the
streets this day. Bruce interceded on the sidewalk and Bruce intercepted the
fathers walking inside to kill. He had many conversations.
Juanita came by the mill
and looked us up and pointed to the graphic signs. She told us an encouraging
story of how a while back she was 12 weeks pregnant walking inside when she
saw us holding the dismembered baby sign. She said it made her freeze in her
tracks. She didn’t kill her baby. She now enjoys her 8 month old son she
named “Issac.” “That’s
a strong biblical name.” She smiled. “I
have two children now. I would never consider going in there again. Thank you
for being out here.”
We intercepted a young couple from
Minnesota
who made three drive-by attempts. They listened to us and took our literature
and gradually went inside. A few minutes later, “Chai”
and her boyfriend walked back out and told Daniel they were keeping their 7
week old baby.
We talked with a
Mississippi
woman who accepted our literature and said she was going to save her baby. A
mother and father 7 months pregnant were walking in death-alley. They
listened, but their hearts were so cold. We saw a lot of black-history this
killing day at the slaughterhouse. One group of women said, “We
going to the hospital,” and walked right by us onto the abortion mill
walkway. “This is not a hospital,”
I said. “This is a slaughterhouse,
and in a couple of hours your babies will be floating in the
Granite City
sewers.”

The killing machine started later than usual this day. At first, the
enemy whispered in our ears that they wouldn’t be killing today, “Go
home.” But we didn’t listen. We know the devil is a liar. Soon, cars
began filling up the parking lot. Deathscorts began arriving.
We talked early on to a fitness couple from
St. Roberts
,
Missouri
. They were determined to end their child’s life. We spoke with Cetina
and her friend an hour later. They came back out and took our literature and a
Bible and said they were 5 weeks
pregnant and chose to keep their baby.
The spirit outside this death mill was much better this Saturday. There
was unity and respect. Pro-lifers we had not seen in a while were back and
working together.
Unfortunately, our ultrasound van was still down laying apart in a
repair garage. But, God told us to put the ultrasound machine in our cramped
family van along with our children and the signs. Praise the Lord we listened!
We had a young girl stop by the mill distraught because her mother would be
upset if she was pregnant. We calmed her down and I asked the prayer warriors
to pray specifically for this situation. I explained the cramped conditions of
our van but if she was willing to bear with me, we would take a peek and see
what we would find. She obliged. It was uncomfortable, but it worked!
We were able to show Becky
a picture of not one, but two 10 week
old babies floating in her womb. She was delighted. “There’s
no way I can go in there no matter how angry my mom is!” she exclaimed.
We cleaned up and came out and shared the good news with proclaimers.
The rosary warriors from Holy Family were encouraged to see how
primitively we work outside this deathcamp. “God
is good! He always makes a way!” The family from
Nokomis
,
Illinois
brought their children. Children and babies are our best signs.
We had the militant deathscorts this day. We listened to the new
phlebotomist’s Christian music at this chop-shop as she pulled into the
employee parking lot and noticed her crucifix around her neck.
A very pregnant mother wore a Baptist tee-shirt as she stood in line to
kill. We see many covenant babies slaughtered. I finally made a way to meet
Rick after noticing him several Saturdays outside this mill. He again held an
interesting sign. He too, along with Tom, relayed how they were there to help
me. They take the feeding frenzy off of me so that I can stay focused and
speak with the girls going inside to kill. Alleluia! Who would of guessed?
We have people that may not believe the same way we believe, but see
how vital our ministry is and they are there to help. They respect our work.
Justin and Rachel
came back out and told Daniel that they were 8
weeks pregnant and drove over 200 miles to kill their baby, but they
changed their minds after seeing the people and the signs. They were keeping
their baby!
It was a long day. We got a workout, but it was all worth it. We had
group prayer thanking the Lord before we packed up and left for the day.
Approx.
172 babies killed. 13 babies saved. Approx. 47 pro-lifers cared enough to show
up throughout the week’s massacre. 2338 saves since January 2000 and 23
babies have been adopted through Small Victories!
Matters
of the Heart
Fate
has chosen him. Fellowship will protect him. Evil will hunt him.
The Enemy knows how vital the heart is, even if we do not, and all his
forces are fixed upon its destruction. For if he can disable or deaden your
heart, then he has effectively foiled the plan of God, which was to create a
world where love reigns. By
taking out your heart, the enemy takes out you, and you are essential to the
Story.
Deuteronomy
6:5 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your strength.” Jesus called this the greatest of all
the commandments- and notice that the heart comes first.
Proverbs
3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own
understanding.”
The Bible sees the heart as the source of all creativity, courage, and
conviction. It is the source of our faith, our hope and of course, our love.
The problem is that apathy permeates the local community where a high
place or death mill is located. The locals don’t have a heart for these
babies. That is why they’re not showing up outside these gates. They may
have a mind, but it’s their hearts that get them out to the streets.
That’s why you see far and few between standing in the gap. Some have just
taken on the “defeatism”
attitude that they can’t possibly do anything to rid their city of this high
place and save babies.
You won’t see them shed any tears over images of broken little
bodies. Proverbs
23:7 “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
Our
Heavenly Father knows our hearts. He knows what we are able to do. He knows
how much we can withstand. He makes His grace available to us when we can’t
go any further. It is only by His grace that we are able to stand everyday in
all kinds of inclimate weather, and when all kinds of adversity comes against
us.
When we don’t think we can go any further, it is by God’s grace
that we are able to stand and to stand firm. We face death every day and
God’s grace gets us through. His grace is sufficient.
Grace is receiving what we do not deserve; mercy is not receiving what
we do deserve.
