2 pro-lifers It
was a beautiful day for Life!
Rosa
’s labor pains began early. We first were introduced to her baby in our
ultrasound van this past February during a bitter, windy, cold day outside
this abortion mill. “Brandon Michael” 6lbs. 1oz. made his debut at 6:44
p.m. Yea God!
To our tired delight, another save was about to enter our world.
Roshanda was at De Paul hospital where “Novell Dontez” arrived at 8:50
p.m. weighing in at 6lbs. 16 oz. 19 ½ in. long. What a great day, thank you
God! Every time a child is born it is God’s way of saying that life must go
on.

We received a desperate phone call from a gentleman early in the
morning warning us to be on the lookout for a bi-racial couple who had a
morning appointment to kill the baby. The father of the child wanted the baby;
the woman already had three children out-of-wedlock and had resolved to kill
the fourth. When we arrived, the parking lot was partially full. We never
noticed a couple fitting their description during our watch; they may have
already been inside.
We heard the killing machine’s auxiliary power being fine tuned in
their parking garage. Thank God we have enjoyed the power outages in
Granite City
. Unfortunately, someone invented generators, ugggh! I’m quite sure they
would not approve of them being used to murder innocent babies.
We were able to bless a new mother with twin mattresses for her
children to sleep on. Lynn and Daniel helped load them into the
grandfather’s truck. He was very grateful.
Later when we returned home, we were busy tracking down baby supplies
for the two new babies born the day before.

The deathwatch began somewhat comical this late-afternoon. I thought,
“I’ve heard every spin on the premeditated act of child killing,” but
the threesome from
Alabama
took the cake this day. Ashley and friends got out of their car and
immediately darted for the entrance. The get-away driver turned and began
telling me she was not there for an abortion. I inquired, “Well, what’s
the occasion for the long distance visit?” “Oh, me and my friends are just
checking it out.” “All the way from
Alabama
?” I asked. “Oh yes,” she replied, “we travel state to state.” I
responded with, “I bet you do. This isn’t the Hilton, honey.” She walked
in after them. They never came back out during our watch.
Yale Security, who supplies the deathcamp guards, video, and audio
equipment, was on the crime scene in force. Recently we had subpoenaed video
tape from this death mill.
We gave our last bassinette to Richard who came out of the hospital
across from this abortion mill where his son, a save, was born two days
before. He was thankful for the supplies.
A mother from
Missouri
came back out and told us she saved her baby and drove away. An angry mother
from
Missouri
brought her very young daughter to kill her grandchild. She rushed her crying
daughter inside.
A black American woman in a PT Cruiser pulled up and let another black
American woman off. She rolled her window down and cursed us. We offered to
calmly converse with her instead of screaming at us. She then yelled that she
was pulling off and, “getting out to kick my %**#...” She pulled up and
sat there while we watched. We prayed for God to touch her. She sat there for
a few minutes, then backed up, and drove off.
A hospital worker walked to her car parked on the street in front of
this mill. She made the comment that she’d, “like to run over us,” and
then screamed at us for having those signs. “They better not touch my
car.” We told her, “That’s what they do here.” She then called me a,
“*&%#@” and gave me the middle finger. She angrily made a u-turn and
screamed another explicative as she peeled her tires. “Wow, we are having a
great day! Praise the Lord!” We ended in prayer and headed out for the long
drive home.

pro-lifers The
harvest is plenty, the laborers few… As soon as our feet hit the pavement we
were buzzing around the outside of this death mill trying to intervene for
those without a voice. The parking lot was overflowing. Multiple cars from
Florida
and
Indiana
to name a few.
What was so shocking was the brazen mothers that waited so long in
their pregnancies to terminate. Their pregnant bellies were hanging over the
tops of their waistbands. They were obviously full of child. We softly pleaded
as they stood in line, “We can show you a free ultrasound picture of your
baby.”
One woman with a protruding belly said, “I don’t want no baby.”
This very same woman came out a few minutes later and walked into our arms for
an ultrasound. We were able to show Latecia her 25 week old baby girl. Her
friend was more excited. Latecia said she didn’t want any more kids, she
already had five. “Well, there is always adoption. We have many couples who
would love to adopt.” I told her how many children we had and God provided,
and that we were adopting a little black American girl last year, but when we
came to the hospital to bring her home, her birth mother had changed her mind
and was going to parent her. “It was a bittersweet time for us. But at least
Jasmine didn’t kill the baby.” Latecia thought about it, then said, “I
can’t carry this baby, then give it up.” I looked at her and said, “But
you can live with killing it?”
I then pointed to the picture of the little girl on the ultrasound
screen who was auditioning for her life. She just looked at me. I then said,
“Don’t make me look at your baby,” as I moved the scanning wand across
her abdomen, “knowing that you’re gonna go back inside there and kill
it.” She then said, “I’m not going in there. I’ll think about it.”
We talked a little more, then she and her friend thanked me and hugged me and
her friend whispered in my ear, “I will work on her.” I told her, “All
moms get overwhelmed. Let me know if she needs a day away from the kids. We
can help her.” They got in their car and left.
Before I could change the sheets, another mother was seeking an
ultrasound. Her boyfriend didn’t want her to abort this baby. Tamika said,
“We’re getting married in July.” She lay back and out came her tummy.
“There,” I said. We watched her 23 week old baby boy sucking his thumb on
the ultrasound screen. She was delighted; so was the father. They thanked us
for helping them, accepted our resource information, and shook our hands.
Praise God!
The baby body parts courier pulled up and hastily retrieved two large
boxes full of dead babies and placed them in the car and drove off to the
Frankenstein factory.

Granite City local who lives across from the abortion mill approached the two
troublemakers on the sidewalk. She was sick of hearing their screaming every
Saturday morning. After telling them off, she walked away.
We were blessed to see a bus from
Southern Missouri
pull around the corner. The Lord’s army was arriving to stand in the gap. It
was an awesome sight to see this mill surrounded with prayer warriors. The
Lord began blessing our efforts with fruit.
We almost lost a save that was there for her ultrasound. The screaming
men approached them and one told her to, “Repent!” Her fiancé yelled at
them to, “Get away! Don’t scare her. We’re here for an ultrasound.”
The black homeless woman began her “Apache” yell and we rushed Amber and
Justin inside the van before they were scared off. Justin said, “I was about
to deck that guy.” I apologized for the troublemakers and began scanning her
abdomen. “There’s your baby!” Just then, her 24 week old baby boy
appeared on the screen. They were excited and they announced his name to me,
“Landon”.
After we hugged each other, they came out on the sidewalk to share
their joy with the prayer warriors. Everyone surrounded them and hugged them
with congratulations. The church was so encouraged to see a life saved. We
walked them to their car. They promised to stay in touch.
The Springfield Right to Life joined our ranks.
Ken spoke with a couple who came back out from the mill. They confirmed
to him they saved their baby and took a Bible.
Real babies are our best signs. Rachel, a new mom, brought her 6 week
old daughter for me to hold. So endearing, so precious.
Little Christina, all of 8 years old, followed me around asking all
kinds of questions about “babies” and why mothers kill. It
was so dear to me to see that kind of innocence on the sidewalk trying to
intervene for the little ones who don’t have a voice. She will one day be a
warrior coming up over our backs as we go down on the barbwire in defense of
the unborn. If you teach your
children early on to respect life, they will not fall from it. “Train
up a child in the way he should go and they will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6.
We greeted and thanked each intercessor this day before we left. The
screaming troublemakers wanted war. They wanted us to scream at the
deathscorts. We refused, but we offered to talk to them. “Remember the fruit
of the spirit,” I reminded them. Galatians 5:22.
We were able to speak with
yet another young couple who walked back out of the abortion mill. They
confirmed that they saved their baby, accepted our literature, and drove off..
The troublemakers’ numbers had swelled to approx 12. It was their
monthly “Eatin’ and greetin’ and gossipin’ meetin’” at a local café
in this city of slaughter. We stayed until all our supporters left. We wanted
to make sure no one was attacked by this bunch as they have done in the past.
We gave God the glory as we were receiving word from the deathcamp guard of a
news article announcing that we had won yet another victory in the federal
courts.
Approx. 190 babies killed. 8
babies saved. Approx. 71 pro-lifers cared enough to show up throughout the
week’s massacre. 2278 saves since January 2000 and 23 babies have been
adopted through Small Victories!
