we rolled up to the crime scene a familiar face came
out of the guard shack to greet us. It was Mike. I
asked, “Is
Jamie off?” “He’s gone. He won’t be back.”
Mike then went inside to help sign a couple of girls
inside. Jamie was let go or relocated, hopefully to a
better job.
It was going to be another late night; the lot
was almost full. We did our reconnaissance mission and
noticed a blue truck pull onto the lot. They sat
inside talking. We bowed our heads in prayer. After a
while, they got out. As they walked up to sign the
death warrant we offered another option. The girl
looked at the young man and stopped; they opened the
door to go in and a second later they both came
bolting to their truck. They pulled off the lot and
came over to us. We listened to them both say, “We
can’t do it.” We talked to them and they
accepted our literature and promised to get in touch
with us for further help. Thank you Jesus!

this “2
million dollar state-of-the art” slaughterhouse

So much for safe and legal women’s healthcare. It
may be legal, but it is definitely NOT
safe.

God for the mother on the cell phone who listened to
us as she walked back inside. We asked her if there
was anything we could help her with and she briefly
told us that she had brought a girl and was the
friend. She didn’t think she could change her mind;
she was already in there. We told her, “We
could show her an ultrasound and help with
resources,” and we asked her name so we could
pray specifically for her. The woman thanked us, took
the brochure, and walked back inside. We bowed our
heads and we prayed for this situation.
Throughout the morning, we pleaded and begged
mercy for the innocents. We began packing up our
resource van after awhile. We were putting the last
sign inside and this car pulled up to us. It was the
woman we spoke to earlier. She rolled the window down
and asked if we could, “still
do an ultrasound?” “Absolutely!” Mia began
setting up and I took a short history.
We worked feverishly once inside. The woman
told me she was her mother. Mariah
was 16 years old. I placed the scanner on her swollen
tummy and there on the screen appeared a 24
week old baby boy on quick inspection. I asked her
what changed her mind. She said, “My
father.” Just then, the cell phone rang. The
mother handed it to me. “Hello,”
I said. “You
have my daughter in your van?” “Yes sir,” I
said. “She
appears to be 24 weeks pregnant…” I turned to Mariah
and she nodded it was okay. “It
appears to be a baby boy.” On the other side of
the phone you could hear a grown man weeping and
thanking Jesus. “Sir,
it’s gonna be okay.” He then repeated through
his tears, “Thank
you Ma’am, thank you ma’am.” I handed the
phone back to the mother who filled him in while
Mariah gazed at the baby.
The young man who accompanied these women was
silently weeping and wiping a tear from his cheek. We
discussed prenatal care and follow-up. They set up
another appointment and we went over resources and
schooling. We prayed and as we exited the van, the
mother turned back to us and gave us the longest hug.
She whispered in my ear, “Thank
God for what you do.” “No, not me, the Lord.”
I asked her what made her come back out. She
said, “When
I walked back inside, her father called and I told him
there was this lady standing outside with a sign and
she offered to help us and do an ultrasound. I told
him, ‘She was praying for Mariah.’ He then told me
to ‘get Mariah out of there and take her to that
lady’ and that’s what we did...” I squeezed
her hand and said, “Thank
You Jesus.” We walked them to their car and gave
a departing hug. Little did we know what God was going
to do this day.

4 pro-lifers A
shocking story was breaking as we set up our
ultrasound outreach at the gates of hell in this City
of
Slaughter
. It was reported that a bank teller in
Indianapolis
had been shot during a robbery in her abdomen. She was
five months pregnant with twins and was being rushed
to an area hospital. Later that day, it was reported
the bullet missed the babies in her womb, but
complications from losing so much blood brought on a
spontaneous miscarriage. Both babies died. The mother
was in stable but critical condition.
Here outside the local abortion mill, a mother
carrying 2 month old twins in an unstable relationship
with the father of the babies was marching inside this
slaughterhouse to have her babies killed by suction
and curettes. Would the public care more if the
abortionist used guns to kill babies? What is even
more disheartening is that in
Indiana
where this shooting/robbery took place, if caught, the
robber will not be charged with murder due to the fact
that
Indiana
law does not consider an unborn baby a person
deserving protection until it reaches 6 months
gestation. Go figure.
The abortion mill was doing brisk business
today as mothers were running inside. One deranged
mother, probably on drugs, tried to use her vehicle as
a weapon and run us over. We walked over to her car as
she got out with a cigarette sticking out of her
mouth. She blasted us with foul language trying to
shock us I guess. She was angry and couldn’t wait to
chop this baby to pieces. We got both middle fingers
from her as she walked inside.
While this was happening, evidently a customer
ran out of the slaughterhouse into a white car and
drove off the lot with the deathcamp guard running
after her. She left a girl who came with her inside.
Police arrived, took information and gave the girl a
ride home.
A young couple came back out and saved their
baby from
Missouri
.
It was gut wrenching to see some of the mothers
who killed could barely walk on their own power. One
young girl from
Illinois
was making an attempt and the car was clear down at
the end of the alley. I told the driver, “Please
don’t make her walk that distance. Why don’t you
go get the car and I’ll sit with her.” The
driver hesitated and looked at the girl who was
holding her abdomen. “It’s
okay, go get the car.” As I stood holding this
girl up I made small talk, then shot up a prayer. As
she positioned herself in the passenger seat I told
her to lay back to help control the bleeding and, “Please
don’t ever come back here, this is a horrible
place.” She accepted the literature and thanked
us and they drove off.
Later that evening, we met with two families
that came to our
Highland
office to view their child and grandbaby for the first
time. It was so awesome to see how one tiny person
could bring all these grown people to tears as they
heard his first heartbeats and viewed his tiny image
on the ultrasound screen. We were so glad to be of
service to them.
The mother of the pregnant girl expressed how
close to, basically within minutes of, killing this
unborn baby they were when we met them at the abortion
mill, and how grateful they were someone was out there
to tell them of another option. It was a God-thing. We
treated them to a quaint meal and introduced them to
the rest of our family before they left for the long
drive home. We were glad to be a blessing to them.

6 regular pro-lifers and small rosary group It
was sunny but cool this early morning as we set up our
pregnancy outreach to the abortion-bound mothers. A
few began arriving after 6:00 a.m. As we unloaded the
signs deathscorts began arriving. Soon mothers were
pouring onto the lot. One couple from
Missouri
parked in the hospital emergency room lot across the
street and began walking inside. They were only in
there a few minutes when they all three came back out,
praise God! They confirmed they did not kill and
immediately left the area.
Mothers were lining up in the morning sun. So
many, so young. Even the deathscorts made the comment
to me, “When
we were this young we were still playing with Barbies.”
It’s sad, but this is the MTV generation. “If
it feels good just do it.” We continued our
conversation and I found out one of the deathscorts
had been a foster mom to three foster children years
ago. Good for her. We need more foster parents. There
are too many kids in the system. We really need an
intervention for the parents of the kids.
We offered to help an overwhelmed grandmother
sitting with her three-year-old grandson while his
mother was inside killing his sibling. He accepted a
treat while we offered literature and other options to
his grandmother in a futile attempt to rescue his
soon-to-be aborted sibling. She got a little indignant
and refused and placed the toddler in their vehicle.
That lasted about a few minutes and she had to retreat
to letting him run around the parking lot while his
little brother or sister was being ripped apart inside
Hope(less). It’s sad to see so many Black Americans
killing off their race.
Long day, but a good day. And a very fruitful
week.
Approx.
158 babies killed. 10 babies saved. Approx. 19
pro-lifers cared enough to show up throughout the
week’s massacre. 2721 saves since January 2000 and
26 babies have been adopted through Small Victories!
“Here
is my servant whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I
delight. I will put my spirit on him and he will bring
justice to the nations. He will not shout or cry out
or raise his voice in the streets. In faithfulness he
will bring forth justice. He will not falter or be
discouraged till he establishes justice on earth.”
Isaiah 42
Mothers are great connectors, linking childhood
with history and promise. And with You by their side
Lord, mothers are best at being in the middle of
creation, working hand in hand with You.
A child who feels lost or afraid often reaches
out for a parent’s hand. It is reassuring to picture
the Lord holding us by the hand, to guide us, protect
us, and keep us from falling whenever we feel in need
of help or alone.
The Lord guides the steps of a man and makes
safe the path of the one he loves. Though he stumbles,
he shall never fall, for the Lord holds him by the
hand. I was young, now I am old, but I have never seen
the just man forsaken, nor his children begging for
bread. All the day he is generous and lends and his
children are a blessing. Turn away from evil and do
good and you shall have a home forever; for the Lord
loves justice and will never forsake his friends. God
is with us!
