Death Toll May 12-17, 2008

Reporting from the “Baby-dumping capital of the Midwest” Granite City , IL .

Once known for their towering steel mills, now known for the baby-dumping mill.

Hope Clinic- American Family Extermination Camp “destroying families one child at a time”

Severing over 400,000 mother–child relationships in their 34 year reign of terror

Monday- Bag n’ Tag 131 babies from the past week’s carnage were bagged and tagged for medical research labs, pharmaceutical and cosmetic firms.

One day after Mother’s Day and we found ourselves burying a dear friend’s son who lost his battle with an aggressive cancer. He was only 23 years old. He will be remembered as the affectionate teddy bear as family and friends recalled their relationship throughout his tender years. We will remember him as always being helpful and extra hands in helping us with setting up our pro-life booths and parades and banners in church, babysitting and taxiing in the “Beast”.

Tuesday- midnight abortions   Inclimate weather and severe storms.

Wednesday- 30      IN, MO, IL      2 saves      2 pro-lifers  As soon as we rolled up to the crime scene a Black American couple walked back out and over to Daniel. They confirmed they saved their baby. BAM! God is always in control. Another couple, this time from Illinois , came out. She was 7 weeks pregnant and accepted our brochure. She would be contacting us for help.

Unfortunately, a mother and daughter from Indiana came out holding onto their brown bag and the young girl was crying. “Babies die, women cry.” Something dies inside a mother when she takes her child’s life. Abortion leaves two victims: one premeditatedly dead and one walking wounded. And now society is dealing with the wounded. The aftermath of abortion-post-traumatic- stress syndrome is similar to what our veterans suffer after serving in wars. Only this is what has become the war on the unborn. The casualties of war…

Thursday- 39      TX, MO, IL      2 saves     4 pro-lifers     It was brisk business as we arrived and began setting up our resource van on the overcast day. Many more Black Americans were pouring inside. We were able to hand out lots of literature. Before we got to the mill a young woman was rushed across the street in a wheelchair into the hospital that patches these botched abortions up and gets them back onto the interstate where they are no longer the abortionist’s problem. She was wheeled back later into the abortion mill.

Kristin and Charles were walking inside to kill when we were able to talk them inside the ultrasound van. Just as we approached the van, Charles changed his mind and began pressuring Kristin to go into the abortion mill. She ran over to us and conveyed that she was being pressured by him and felt it was her only recourse. We desperately tried to get her away from him, but to no avail; the father of the baby pushed her inside. We prayed for the situation and began packing up the van and heading home. Later, we found out all three came back out. Kristin was 8 weeks pregnant. Praise God! She had our number and was informed of the resources we could help her with.

Friday- 41      TN, MO, IL     2 saves      3 pro-lifers   It was a sunny spring day as we set the ultrasound van up. It was so disheartening and a slap in the pro-lifers’ face to see personalized plates bearing the “Choose Life” motto. Unfortunately with the sin and hypocrisy that is in the church, it’s no wonder that we see covenant babies being murdered. Shame.

We pleaded with an older couple from Chicago in a brand-new expensive car not to take their child’s life, to no avail. We offered to adopt or help parent a mixed couple’s baby who shared that she was in a recent car accident which would explain the walker and cast on her foot. They too went inside.

Praise God, Sierra, 7 weeks pregnant, came back out and told Daniel she was keeping her baby. Her driver was not too happy. She accepted our literature and said she would contact us for help.

Saturday- 30      FL, MO, IL      2 saves      8 pro-lifers   It was a beautiful day to serve the Lord and stand in the gap. God sent the right people to help us in saving babies this day. Pro-choice Tom came early this day. He helps us by taking the hits and the feeding frenzy off of us from the religious nuts.

“Portia” and her sister pulled onto the emergency lot. We watched as the screaming man stood over their car excoriating them. The deathscorts stood at bay. They remained in their car a few more minutes. I said, “They need to be rescued from that screaming.” I knelt down on the driver’s side and held baby Hannah’s picture up to the window. She rolled it down. I apologized for the man screaming and told them, “He is not with us.” I acknowledged the little girl in the back seat and asked if there was anything we could do to help her so she would not go into this abortion mill. Tears welled up in her sister’s eyes. Portia, the driver, said, “I know this is wrong.” But I said, “What is it that makes you think you have to kill your baby?” “I don’t have rent money.” A tear rolled down her cheek. “Is that all?” She shook her head. “Honey, how much is your rent?” “Five hundred and five.” “Honey, we can help you get that rent money.” I asked her if we could go inside our ultrasound van where it was quieter to talk. She agreed to park her car in front of our van and come inside. As we walked to the van I asked the others to pray.

Once inside, we were able to show her a picture of her 20 week old baby boy. Her little girl was two and was watching her baby brother auditioning on the ultrasound screen. “Look mommy, there’s the baby,” and she pointed to her protruding belly as I scanned. She then heard his heartbeats. Her sister was crying tears of joy. “I told you it was a boy.” I promised Portia we would have some relief for her by Monday. Thank you Lord! I told her that she trusted me to show her a picture of her baby, now she must trust me with the time needed to make the appropriate contacts to help stabilize her housing situation and other needs. A sigh of relief went up and we prayed. She was just overwhelmed with the responsibility of raising another fatherless child. “It’s still not the baby’s fault of how he got here. He is innocent. He started out just like you and I did.” She agreed and we went over other things she would be needing for the baby and scheduling her follow-up with her regular doctor to confirm the findings. She thanked us and gave us a hug as we walked her to her car. Thank you Jesus!

Pro-choice Tom walked by us and I thanked him for all his help. “I just tried not to get in your way,” he commented and continued walking by.

A spiritual brother, Cameron, stopped by the mill to pray for us and our needs. He sees the battle and knows how angry the devil is with our effectiveness. Cameron mentioned the tools the devil tries to throw across our paths outside on his playground. Satan is a liar and a great distracter.  If Satan can get your eyes off the goal he can defeat you. But when you keep your focus on cutting off his bloodline the Lord prevails. Every time you show up we win. Remember, the devil says, “Oh no, not her again,” every time our feet hit the ground.

Approx. 140 babies killed. 8 babies saved. Approx. 17 pro-lifers cared enough to show up throughout the week’s massacre. 2752 saves since January 2000 and 26 babies have been adopted through Small Victories!

James 4:2 “You have not because you ask not.

Congratulations to those who received the 2 million dollar makeover for rescuing stray dogs and cats recently in St. Louis ... A handful of people came together and millions of dollars were raised and won to rescue stray animals.  Wouldn’t it be great if a handful of Christians came together to get a new ultrasound van to rescue babies? Their lives are as meaningful and precious as those little animals.

It’s amazing the value we place on animals versus human babies. Don’t get me wrong, we love animals. We have quite the menagerie at our house. With current gas prices it is amazing that God has seen us through to rescue babies five days a week. Let’s face it, we are on borrowed time. We cannot continue to drive this 21 year old van and keep praying nothing goes out or falls off. We are literally standing at hell’s gates and providing a service to rescue little ones from the belly of the beast that are scheduled to die that day. Diapers and baby supplies are always needed, but you cannot put diapers in the gas tank or make the necessary repairs to the van with baby supplies.

Our ministry that the Lord has called us to has pioneered and blazed the trail for the current epidemic of ultrasound ministries outside abortion mills since its inception in 1999. That’s a good thing. Really, it’s a compliment. Why have ultrasound units sitting cold inside closed pregnancy centers when they can be helping abortion bound women walking inside the abortion mills to see the life within their womb? It only makes sense. You have to save the baby first, before you can hand out diapers.

This is a vital ministry; it has saved many lives. We are not asking you to get out of a warm bed and stand with us in the cold of winter or the heat of summer. We will do that for you. “How does God’s love abide in anyone who has the world’s goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?” 1 John 3:17 We are asking you to support us in our need and help us achieve the much needed van to transport our ultrasound ministry in every day the killing fields exist. Romans 5:5 Offering real hope, and hope does not disappoint us because God has poured out His love into
our hearts by the Holy Spirit whom He has given us.”
