Monday- Bag n’ Tag approx 88 babies from the past week’s carnage were bagged and tagged for medical research labs, pharmaceutical and cosmetic firms.  

 

Tuesday- midnight abortions approx 18      IN, MO, IL      2 saves      4 pro-lifers    It’s amazing what a woman will go through to kill her unborn child, even a treacherous ice storm. As we gingerly slid up to the crime scene in the City of Slaughter , a few cars were already inside. It was freezing as we carefully placed a few pro-life signs out in this weather.

            BAM! God answered prayers. Two girls from Missouri came out, confirmed they were pregnant, and keeping the baby. They accepted our literature and drove off the lot. We did our reconnaissance mission surrounding this slaughterhouse. Another save, a mother and daughter from Illinois walked back out and took our brochure. She was upset her daughter was pregnant, but not willing to kill her grandchild. Praise God!

 

Wednesday- approx 20      AR, IN², MO, IL      2 saves      4 pro-lifers    In our almost 16 years of ministering outside this abortion mill, we have found it to be true those that come most under conviction are usually the more mouthy and angry murdering mothers and their accomplices. Today was more proof.

            As we set up our outreach to the abortion-bound mothers, a car from Missouri containing two males and an older female pulled onto the bloody lot. We offered to help them with another option. One unshaven male straight out of the movie “Deliverance” cursed us and gave us half of a peace sign with his fist and yelled, “Why don’t you go to church?” “We are the church,” we responded. “We’re trying to save that innocent baby sir.” We made several more attempts to rescue, but they went inside.

            A while later, all four came back out. Their demeanor was much calmer and they were holding an ultrasound picture. They got into their vehicle and drove off the lot. Praise God! Throughout the cold morning, another couple from Illinois came back out we had spoken to earlier. They confirmed they were keeping their baby and drove off the lot.

            A Black American male got out of his car. The woman ran up to the entrance and he went over and talked to Daniel. The woman walked inside. He asked us, “What kinda place is this?” We told him, “They kill babies here.” He was shocked. He then said, “She told me she had a doctor’s appointment. I don’t believe in killing babies.” Daniel said, “Go get her out. We will help her.” The man walked up to the doors and went inside to retrieve the woman he unknowingly brought.

            A few minutes later, he walked over to us. “She won’t come out,” he said. “I told her I was leaving her,” and with that he got into his car, thanked us, and drove off towards the interstate.

 

Thursday- approx 28      AR, IN, CA, MO, IL      2 saves      4 pro-lifers       It was biting cold, but the sun was shining which makes our mission a little more tolerable. Noticeably with Black History month just around the corner, we were witnessing a sky-rocketing amount of more Black Americans killing their history off.

            A patient from the hospital stopped to talk with us. He was shocked at the partial-birth abortion sign we hold. “Is that what they do here?” he asked. “Yes, but you’ll notice this building does not advertise the word ‘ABORTION’ anywhere near or on its building. They want to blend in, so we advertise for them and let people know the atrocities that take place everyday in this deplorable town. The recent closure of this town’s third major industry just reaffirmed what we have been saying for years, ‘36 years ago Granite City was known for its steel mill and drew families from all 49 states to this boom-town for the past three-decades. It’s now known for its late-term baby killing mill’ and continues to draw from all 49 states across the nation. That is really something to be proud of.”

            Michael shared his testimony with us. He is a born again Christian. He has health problems, and even suffered a near fatal heart attack and survived cancer, but the Lord delivered him. He is getting stronger and better every day. He is the music director of his church located in neighboring Madison , Illinois . He has tried to teach his son right from wrong and to never raise your hand to a woman. He does not believe in killing children as a way to get rid of problems. He said he would pray for us and he was shocked to learn of this extermination camp, but blessed to meet us and learn of our ministry. “Thank God and I appreciate what you all do,” he said as he drove away.

            A Black American couple from Missouri came back out. We offered to help them and the male driver smiled and threw his hand in the air, “We’re keeping it!” Praise the Lord! They drove off the lot towards the interstate. At least one little Black baby was spared from Black History inside Hope Clinic.

            I guess it must really be an economic problem when we view all those BMWs and Denalis and Escalades parked on the front lot. The owners can’t possibly afford a car payment and a baby!

 

Friday- approx 25      AR, IN, MO, IL      1 save      5 pro-lifers   Cold and sunny as we did our reconnaissance mission outside this slaughterhouse. One young Black American couple came back out after a few minutes and confirmed they did not go through with the scheduled abortion. They got into their car and drove off.

            It angered us to see the woman from Arkansas was back for day three of her late-term abortion. Second and third trimesters take this long to be partially birthed and murdered. When there are so many willing to adopt it makes no sense to wait till you are this advanced in a pregnancy, then go through labor for three days, and then have the baby yanked out after its brains have been sucked out into a jar. We’re a civilized nation? Oh, that’s right, according to the goddess, “It’s a baby when a woman says it’s a baby and not one second sooner.”

            We walked over to two girls headed for their vehicle and offered to help them. They reached inside for their smokes and declined our offer. They brought a friend earlier to abort her baby.

            We headed across the mighty Mississippi River to deliver God’s mail at the gates of hell where serial killer and felon Al Palmer butchers when he isn’t in Granite City killing babies. We walked inside his offices not knowing if this was it. There are no protestors or signs indicating his bloody business. The skanky receptionist looked hung-over as she sucked on her cigarette. She looked at Angela, “Hey, I don’t have a doctor here if you have an appointment.” Daniel walked up to the desk and asked, “Is this where they kill babies?” The few patients looked up. He asked again, “Do you kill babies here?” The woman was panicked. She just stood there with her mouth open; she couldn’t answer him. The room with people was very uncomfortable.

            We walked out and talked with several tenants in surrounding offices. They had no idea what this building housed. We eventually found a crisis pregnancy center and they filled us in on daily routines and operations. We found out Palmer is not on staff across the street at DePaul Hospital as thought. Where do his butchered clients go? They usually turn up in emergency rooms. Or if they can make the trek to Missouri Baptist Hospital where he is still on staff to be patched up and put back on the highway where they are no longer his problem. Sound familiar?

 

Saturday- approx 31      AZ, IN, MO, IL      3 saves   on-site ultrasounds    12 reg pro-lifers, 24 rosary warriors, 1 priest    4 deathscorts      BRRR It was frigid as we rolled up to the slaughterhouse with a few flurries and blustery winds. Mothers were let in around 7:00 a.m. The early ones, at least twelve, were from the day before (late-term mothers). God was answering prayers. Two troublemakers were in the alley, but they were not screaming.

            We were able to calmly talk with many of the mothers and they accepted our literature. A Suburban pulled to the exit with two girls inside crying. Ken and I were able to give them literature and counsel them. Praise the Lord! Bam! The rosary warriors were out in force this day even with the bitter weather. Point guards stood strategically. Amen!

            Two girls accepted our brochure as deathscorts hurried them onto the catwalk. I called over to them offering to show them an ultrasound picture of their baby. A few seconds later, one walked back towards me. I asked her, “Do you have to get your ID?” “No,” she said. “Will you do an ultrasound?” “Absolutely!” I said and signaled to Daniel and chief operations crew to, “Set up for incoming.” Praise the Lord! She went and got her friend. They joined me in the alley. I shielded them from the Presbyterian/Catholic loon as she stood there salivating.

            I brought them inside the ultrasound van where we scanned her tummy to see her baby approximately 8 weeks old. We went over resources and follow-up with a doctor. They were grateful we were there and thanked and hugged us as we walked them to their car. A proclaimer made the comment, “That’s the first ultrasound I’ve seen on a Saturday in a long time.” “You know why? Because God answers prayers. There is NO screaming.”

            The troublemakers held their tongues this day. We save babies when we can calmly speak to the mothers. It’s bad enough when you have deathscorts pushing them inside, but with troublemakers dressed like pro-lifers yelling and screaming, it only helps kill babies. That is the difference.

            The deadly Dixon duo was outside in the smoking lounge trying to calm their nerves before they go back inside the slaughterhouse and help rip babies apart. I guess there is nepotism in this butchering business too. Both are MagnaCum GED, but regularly are running and floating between all four OR rooms inside the chop-shop. There are no licensed nurses inside this surgical abortion mill. The last one quit and came out and hugged me as it was her last day. She was leaving to go, “Do what real nurses should be doing.”

            A few weeks ago, fired and now occasionally contracted nurse Cheryl Daniels was back to sign out operating room orders and help out.

            A vision of beauty, Rosa, a grandmother of two, brought both babies to the ultrasound van to show us the fruits of our labors. They were precious. She told everyone within ear’s distance how they were saved inside the ultrasound van and she was so grateful. She also informed us that she brought her niece by this past week whose baby was saved. They just missed us. Her niece wanted us to adopt this child as she could not adequately parent this baby anymore and the family did not want it. We arranged to meet with her and make proper arrangements to adopt this baby. Praise God!        

            We prayed with the remaining proclaimers and shared the good news. The rosary warriors were so encouraged as we updated them on the progress on the battle lines. They congratulated us and opened their wallets with donations for the newest member. Two more babies were saved throughout the blustery cold morning.

            We were blessed with the faithful Eggering family and wonder dog “Julie” from Our Mother of Perpetual Help. They are an awesome family who serves the Lord and loves His little ones. We were grateful for the donation of baby supplies and gas funds, and a few wet kisses from Julie. : ) We were frozen as we packed up and headed for the long drive home.

            After we arrived safely back to the homestead, we were again blessed with an encouraging picture and card of praise from a young mother who saved her little girl and was so very grateful someone cared enough to help them see how precious life is...all 8lbs 1 oz. God’s biggest blessings are often His little ones.

   

Approx. 122 babies killed. 10 babies saved. Approx. 54 pro-lifers cared enough to show up throughout the week’s massacre. 3002 saves since January 2000 and 27 babies have been adopted through Small Victories!

            Aaaannnd if you have been keeping track over the past 9 years since keeping records, this is a first, less than 10,000 babies were murdered in Granite City of the nine years we have kept a count. For once Hope Clinic can truthfully report to the Heath Department and the Internal Revenue Department they did less than 10,000 abortions in a year’s time. 

            Thank you Jesus! Not one law has been changed or passed to make a difference in Granite City . You cannot fight abortion from the top down. It must be from the bottom up that is a grassroots effort. Yes, it’s a noble cause to march off to Washington DC every January 22^nd, but after the March for Life, we the Church of Jesus Christ must bring the battle cry outside every American Family Extermination camp located in their town or cities, where families are being destroyed one child at a time. We must bring a change to our nation and rebuild a “culture of life” as we were once respected for. “The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good government.”

            I don’t know about you, but I do want change. That being said, I encouraged believers to go to where babies can be saved. Bring that bravado to abortion mills and plead the case of the fatherless to win, not to play a good game of pro-life. I have faith that in time God will turn this nation around, but we must stop defiling our nation with the shedding of innocent blood. It begins with one person. God will reward our faithfulness. He answers prayers.

            Don’t hand-ring over “incrementalism”. Satan knows how to thwart our efforts to defeat him. He’ll use tactics called F.O.C.A. to occupy our time, when at least here in Illinois FOCA is already happening for over 35 years. There is no regulation in the abortion industry. Who is policing the abortion business? Partial birth is STILL legal in all states! even though our President signed a ban on this barbaric procedure. Three liberal judges filed an injunction to hold it up in the courts. Nothing has stopped it.

            There is no parental notification in Illinois . Who is going to enforce it elsewhere? Do you see what I mean? FOCA does not matter. For the most part, FOCA is another scare-tactic money maker for the pro-life movement.

            Relying upon elected officials to fight the battle that is reserved for the Church of Jesus Christ is futile. Presidents, congressmen, and judges will not and cannot slay the giants of our day. It’s too costly! This job belongs to another- Jesus Christ. It is through those who have truly heard His voice and are unashamed of His Name, that the battle will be won in the streets of our nation and not in the halls of congress.
