a beautiful spring-like afternoon as we rolled up to the slaughterhouse.
Judy met us and we set up our outreach. The workers were donning green
anticipating this evening’s bar-hopping celebrations. That would account
for the low killing numbers and an earlier start to the killing spree this
afternoon. God was still in control and blessing our efforts.
came back out to her car. We spoke briefly to her. She went back inside. A
Black American nurse’s aide from
came with her uniform still on from work. She walked over to us and accepted
our literature. We pleaded with her not to take her innocent child’s life.
Her friend came over and told us various excuses of why her friend had to
kill her baby. We offered to take her across the street to another doctor to
get a second opinion. Her friend sarcastically stated, “The baby is dead.
She just needs to get it out,” and they walked to the doors.
minutes later, both women walked back to their car and the pregnant girl
looked over at us and smiled. We motioned for her to call us. She nodded as
they drove off the lot.
The girl from
came out with two older women. She held her head down. The passenger
accepted our literature and we offered to help them. I asked if they let her
see her baby. The girl looked up. “No,” she said. They just told her how
much it would cost. The passenger told her, “Let this woman help you.” I
signaled to prayer warriors to pray.

I scanned her protruding tummy and pointed to the screen where we envisioned

tears welled in her eyes. She then explained that they drove all the way
. She didn’t think she was this advanced. She already has a toddler boy
back home. We went over resources and contact numbers. Her grandmother was
relieved and even offered to pay us for the ultrasound. We declined, but she
insisted on it as a donation to our ministry and for being there to help her
granddaughter. They hugged and thanked us as they got into their car and
drove towards the interstate. I guess with infamous
abortionist “Tiller the Killer” being on trial they are re-routing the

promised to help with baby formula and diapers. Her little 2 month old was
ill. She was on the way to the doctor’s for his appointment. We peeked in
on him as he lay in his car seat. He was wheezing, with labored breathing;
poor baby. We handed her the bag filled with supplies and formula. She
thanked us and told us she would let us know how the baby is.
and her friend came back out, took our literature, confirmed they were
keeping their baby, and drove off the lot. The baby killers were shutting
down early this afternoon. Praise God!

ultrasound As soon as we
set up our outreach to the abortion-bound mothers a young mother, Tammy,
came inside to see her baby. BAM! There on the ultrasound screen was a
perfect 6 week old baby with a swimmer’s stroke auditioning for his life
on the screen. Tammy smiled and we went over physician follow-up and
resources we would be helping her with. She thanked us as she left.
the killing numbers were high for a Wednesday as the evening before was
shortened due to festivities, and the blood merchants were there, a little
hung-over, to make up for lost revenue from the previous night.
begged and pleaded mercy as mothers and their accomplices marched their
innocent babies inside to be butchered. One couple came back out, confirmed
they were keeping their baby, and drove off the lot. This was going to be a
long day as the guard was being replaced from afternoon duty.
that afternoon we returned to stand and meet the founder of the 40 Days for
Life campaign David Bereit. There were still a couple of cars left from the
morning’s carnage and a few employees as we set up our van. Mr. Bereit
came over to us in the alley as we walked and prayed. He hugged and thanked
us for our dedicated ministry. We in turn thanked him for his organization.
“For years we have attempted to surround this slaughterhouse with prayer.
You, David, have actually done that and given it a name: 40 Days for Life
campaign.” He introduced us to others in the group and shared our daily
ministry for which many thanked us and expressed their gratitude.

front came through; it wasn’t officially Spring yet. One more day! We set
up our outreach to the abortion-bound mothers. A few more familiar saints
joined us on the sidewalk and alley to be a voice for the voiceless. Jeff
held our “Free Help” sign and beckoned mothers to come see a free
ultrasound picture of their babies.
oriental couple walked up to us; the male was visibly upset and the girl was
in a hurry to get inside. We offered to help them and pointed to the
ultrasound van. She shook her head, “No,” turned, walked up to the door,
and went inside. A few minutes later, the male came back out and walked to
his car crying his eyes out for his little baby about to be destroyed. I
told warriors, “Keep praying!”
girl standing in line looked over at me. I offered to help her. She came
over and asked if I would give her an ultrasound. She came inside where I
scanned her tummy and pointed to the screen where she viewed her 9 week old
floating and auditioning for his life. She wasn’t sure about her dates.
She already had a toddler at home. We went over resources and God’s plan
for her life and this innocent baby. She still was unsure. She thanked me
and even hugged me. I then noticed the wad of money in her hand. “Please,
don’t go in there.” We disheartenedly watched her exit our van and walk
to the doors. A moment later she went inside. Prayer warriors looked in
horror. “Pray,” I told them. “God is still in control.”
pulled onto the lot. We spoke softly to her offering her real hope. She
walked over to us and patiently listened. She accepted our literature, but
broke free, walked up to the doors, and went inside. “Keep praying that
the demonic spirits of blood-shedding be bound up,” I reminded them.
later she came back out and sat in her car. Jeff and I were able to talk
with her. She didn’t go through with the abortion. Jeff offered to get his
church involved to help her as she lived closer to him. Laura informed us
she would be okay as she belonged to a big church and they would help. She
thanked us for being there and drove off the lot.
We began packing up our outreach and praying the mother pregnant with
a nine week old baby would come back out during our watch. Later that
afternoon, Helen, the woman who stood with us earlier this morning called to
let us know the pregnant girl came back out; she was still pregnant. She
didn’t kill her baby. Helen also spoke with a Catholic woman that went in
earlier for contraceptives and she too came back out. Helen shared with her
the gospel and how God feels about contraceptives. She gave her a booklet on
“Examining the Conscience.” She thanked Helen for the information.
week pregnant girl told Helen she would contact me. And later that day, she
phoned. She confirmed she had second thoughts and kept picturing her baby on
the ultrasound. She said once inside the abortion mill the staff kept
pressuring her to abort. The counselor pinpointed the fact she, “Already
has one child. How can you raise another?” When Andrea asked a medical
question regarding her baby as the assistant deathcamp director did her
ultrasound, she told her, “What do you think we are? This isn’t a
medical facility; we just tell you how far along you are so we know how much
to charge you.” Andrea was shocked at the callousness. I told Andrea, "This
is a chop-shop. You are just a number to this slaughterhouse."
said there was a Black American woman pregnant with 24 week old twins who
had an ultrasound before her. The abortion mill staff was on the phone
trying to find more funding to kill these twins. The mother of the twins
didn’t seem to be too concerned; she just wanted them out of her. The
staff said, “We will only charge you for one of the twins.” Andrea
couldn’t believe her ears. That was when she was ready to bail and run out
the doors. She said one pregnant girl was upset because she was over 15
weeks pregnant and it would take two days to abort her baby. But most of the
crowded room was just an assembly line of past-abortive veterans. Some
were bragging, “It was not their first time.” Andrea walked back out,
looking for the van, but we were gone. But Helen was still there and talked
with her. Praise God!
Friday- approx 20
IN, MO, IL It
was a very hostile day; not only hostile and threatening for those innocents
in the womb, but also for those standing in the gap for those being led to
their slaughter. Mothers and their accomplices to premeditated murder were
pouring inside from all fronts. Daniel, Greg, and Jess were praying and
intercepting mothers. An angry male standing in line to sign out the death
warrant on his child charged Daniel after he offered to help the young
mother he brought. He held his fist in Daniel’s face threatening to punch
him for offering to help her save her baby. The pregnant woman pulled him
back and told him to, “Stop it! Leave him alone.” Greg and Jess both
rebuked him and his cowardly behavior. “You should be laying your life
down for your baby, not taking your baby’s life for yours.”

rolled up to the crime scene, we thought perhaps this slaughterhouse was
closed as there were two cars sitting idly. Ken relayed to us the guard had
a different vehicle this day. Shortly after we set up our outreach we prayed
and cars began arriving. The early ones were late-term from the day before
and Thursday. We softly called over to the couples marching up to sign out
the death warrants on their children. Many mocked and laughed at our offers
to help them with real hope. Many joked and asked us how much money we had.
the death-mart greeter opened the doors for business and they slowly went
inside, one after another. The 40 Days for Life remnant began showing up in
numbers this day. They gathered behind the slaughterhouse to pray and go
over instructions from their local leaders. Mike Behnen and Mike Wood then
asked Angela to join the circle and introduced her and shared briefly her 15
years of daily ministry outside this deathcamp. We thanked them all for
coming and told them how encouraging it was to have this deathcamp
surrounded with prayer warriors, not yelling and screaming condemnation, but
praying and being a witness to this abortion mill, those going inside, and
the entire community. They then sang “Amazing Grace” and began a
March around the deathcamp.
God was blessing our efforts. One by one, girls began coming inside our
ultrasound van to see pictures of their unborn babies. We also received
confirmation over 30 scheduled abortions for Friday cancelled and did not
reschedule. Praise the Lord! It was so humbling to see so many appreciate
life and doing something about it this day.
we received so many thank you’s and much gratitude for our daily ministry
outside this deathcamp from so many who were with the 40 Days campaign. Many
were uninformed of what goes on inside the abortion mill and industry. Many
did not realize how many abortions are done daily during our watch. Many did
not envision so many well-to-do mothers killing their babies or the age
differences. Abortion was built on a lie and continues to build upon lies.
That is what keeps it going.
were many pro-lifers who were enlightened and encouraged to come back and

supplies in two boxes for pregnant mothers we save, and by day’s end, we
had given all out to the saves who came inside the ultrasound van and those
who stopped by for help. Thank you Jesus!
