“Rescuing babies, saving lives, one heart at a time” Reporting from the war zone, the killing fields of Granite City, Illinois Once known for their towering steel mills, now known for the late-term baby dumping mill. Casualty Count: Over 400,000 mother-child relationships in their 38 year reign of terror. Monday- Bag n’ Tag approx 49 babies were bagged and tagged for medical research, pharmaceutical labs, and cosmetic firms from the past week’s carnage Tuesday- midnight abortions approx 22 killed AL, IA, MO, IL 3 saves on-site ultrasounds It was a contentious day as we set up our pregnancy outreach to the abortion-bound mothers slowly pulling onto the parking lot. The line-up began. We gently called over to the mothers and their accomplices standing in line offering them options other than abortion. One woman was turned away from entering; she may have not had an appointment, but we offered to help her, and she attacked us. “You are disgusting!” she screamed. This woman began walking to her illegally parked car blocking a fire hydrant and got on her phone. Thirty minutes later as we were saving babies and doing ultrasounds, three squad cars arrived. She wanted us arrested for being there. While performing our third ultrasound, the cops and crazy lady left. The few troublemakers dispersed also. The death camp guard came over and informed us that the crazy lady was a human rights activist. LOL! “Human rights of whom?” we asked. He smiled. What about the human rights of the unborn? Wednesday- CLOSED Thursday- CLOSED Friday- approx 7 killed IN, MO, IL Very slow and uneventful killing day at the slaughterhouse. Praise God! Saturday- approx 18 killed MO, IL 2 saves Church Without Walls and various churches, Small Victories 20th anniversary Throughout the hot, muggy, festive morning, we rejoiced with the rescue of two precious babies scheduled to die this day. and 42 babies have been adopted through Small Victories Life Belongs To God Life is God’s greatest gift to human beings. If you look at a nine month chart of the gestation of a human being (aka baby) as it develops, it is fascinating how intrinsic he/she is; how parents marvel at the unborn baby’s tiny frame being knitted together in a mother’s womb. How can anyone deny its humanity? It is so ironic that a wanted baby is a marvelous creature being formed through all nine months. On the other hand, an unwanted baby is a parasite, an appendage, a burden. There is nothing fascinating about this…thing. But God calls it life, a gift. And life belongs to God. That life is created in His image. No one but God has the right to destroy it or lift a hand to harm that life since life is really God’s life in us, and even in the unborn child. The cries of these babies being slaughtered before they are born must be heard by God. And, oh how it must grieve Him as He looks to and fro for someone to intervene to stand in the gap. How can anyone look at that 9 month gestational chart and deny the child’s personhood? And just when exactly does that tiny frame become a person? Be encouraged ~Angela |
