Death Toll February 18-23, 2013

“Rescuing babies, saving lives, one heart at a time”
Reporting from the war zone, the killing fields of Granite City, Illinois
Once known for their towering steel mills, now known for the late-term baby dumping mill.
Casualty Count: Over 400,000 mother-child relationships in their 39 year reign of terror

Monday- Bag n’ Tag approx 68 babies were bagged and tagged for medical research, pharmaceutical labs, and cosmetic firms from the past week’s carnage.

Tuesday-approx 22 killed MO.IL. 2 saves  Cold, blustery winds

The sun was out, but the strong winds were ripping through our layers of clothing as we tried to stay warm interceding for the babies scheduled to die this afternoon and night.  Many listened, many took our literature, but their minds were made up as many replied. We didn’t give up, we kept walking and trying to offer them a way out of their situation that didn’t include violence.  It was warmer in the sun, but as the evening came the sun set behind the slaughterhouse and the bitter cold of winter settled in for the long night.

We covered Lewis with a blanket and parked him in his wheelchair up against our ultrasound van trying to shelter his crippled body from the winds. Saving babies was a team effort this challenging afternoon. By the grace of God, throughout the late afternoon and early evening, we rejoiced with two confirmed saves that came back out and drove off the parking lot at different times confirming they kept their babies. It is so hard to get them in the ultrasound van when it’s this cold, but at least they rolled their windows down and spoke with us. “VIVA LA FROZEN CHOZEN!”

Wednesday-CLOSED

Thursday- CLOSED

Friday- SNOWSTORM  9 babies killed MO,IL.

Abortion mill had many cancellations as snow was over 5.5 inches in the City of Slaughter. Only a few cars on the parking lot as the snow kept falling on these washboards streets. Very difficult to get around especially on the off and on ramps with our large vehicle. Treacherous driving. Cold. Praise God, for the stay of executions this day for babies schedule to die inside this abortion mill.

Saturday- approx 24 babies killed MO,IL.2 babies saved   Cold, ice packed

As usual only a few brave souls ventured out this day to stand in the gap with our ministry. We kidded wheelchair bound Lewis, that he would be needing chains on his wheelchair tires to get around in the deep snow. LOL! New parents, Nancy and Joel brought their niece to witness this day.  Most of the streets were cleared fairly well. An advantage for us was the ice packed mounds of snow, shoved up to the sidewalk facing the slaughterhouse. This made for a great pulpit, we could see abortion bound clients arriving blocks away.  And yes, we took full advantage as we gave them heaven preaching in love God’s word and offering them another way. Not screaming and condemning as the angry black man in the alley was doing only a few feet from the arrivals. Joel and Nancy kept apologizing to the arrivals for the black mans behavior, and pointing to our ultrasound van.

One young woman walked over and took us up on our offer.  We brought Nancy and her niece inside with permission to view this ultrasound.  She was appox 18 weeks pregnant with a baby boy auditioning for us. We spent extra time doing a cross section and explaining the imagery. The audience was blown away at the tiny sight, made in God’s image. We went over resources available through our ministry and physician follow-up. The mother was very grateful we were there and thanked us and didn’t mind sharing her experience with our volunteers. We came out the van ever so gingerly as the snow was packed against our van and helped this young mother to her car. Thank you Lord.

We gathered and closed in prayer. Brrr. But not before a young man praying the rosary close by came over and handed us a donation to help with gas or baby supplies. We thanked him and he in turn told us, “No , I thank you for being here all these years and everyday they are killing babies”.

“How does God’s love abide in anyone who has the world’s goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help? “ 1 John 3:17

Approx 55 babies killed, 4 babies saved, 4,426 babies saved since January 2000 and 43 babies have been adopted through Small Victories

                                                                                                       WHOLLY OR HOLY ?

During this Lenten season it’s always a good time to reflect upon our inner self. I keep a daily reminder in my car that says, “Turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel”. This is a two fold witnessing tool. Who ever services my car gets to read it also.  :-)   Let me ask you a question, “Can Jesus live in you?” Are you living the kind of life that Jesus shines through?  Listen, you can’t fool Jesus. He knows your heart. Do you think God is blind?  Don’t be like the Pharisees in the courtyards for others to see. We must proclaim Christ by the way we talk, the way we walk, the way we daily live our lives that everyone will know that we belong to Him.

Proclaiming is NOT PREACHING: it’s BEING. We have been made for such a times as this, in being, what I refer to as the “frozen chozen”. God has chosen us. He needs REAL missionaries to do His work.

This is an honor: a gift. God is always speaking to us; (as the liberal church marquees read). But are we listening? The love of God is what saves lives and converts hearts. Love does not live on words. My children, our love is not to be just words or mere talk, but something real and active” 1 John 3:18  Love is proved in doing. The world’s hatred for Christ will come after us for we and our example are a challenge, just as Christ was hated, so too are we. Criticism, lack of appreciation, humiliation we must remember especially at this holy time of year that we, too, will have our own crucifixion if we are truly following in Jesus’ footsteps and living for Christ. For the very same people we have ministered to, just as in Jesus’ days, the sinner’s that he healed and forgave, turned around and crucified Him.

It’s fun following Jesus, until you realize where He is going.  +++
